About this cabin rental

Welcome to The Cabin in the Pines! Enjoy over 2.5 acres of privacy- perfect for relaxing on the deck, around the fire pit, or strolling the private trails. Put a vinyl on the record player and wind down around the pellet stove. Perfect for year-round vacationing, off Route 16 near Center Ossipee, 20 min to Wolfeboro and Lake Winnipesaukee, 10 min to 18 holes of golf and public boat launch on Route 25. 20 min to King Pine and Wolfeboro Abenaki skiing and 15 min to snowmobiling at White Lake! You won't want to leave this peaceful getaway! KITCHEN Stepping into the cabin you'll be greeted with a fully stocked kitchen, complete with all the basics (oven, range, fridge, microwave, etc) as well as extra amenities like coffee, dishes for kiddos and pups, blender, crockpot, etc. You can count on a bottle of wine to help unwind too! The guidebook will give you the lay of the land and we've included lots of info about local activities as well. BATHROOM Off the kitchen you'll see the main bathroom, stocked with fresh linens, shampoo/conditioner, soaps, face cream, everything you could need! PRIMARY BEDROOM Just to the left is the primary bedroom. This room has real wood paneling and smells amazing! In the closet you'll find a pack and play and spare air mattress in case they're helpful. DINING Leaving the bedroom you'll see the main living and dining area. The dining table is set for four but there are plenty of extra dining chairs on the property if you'd like to set the table for more guests. LIVING AREA The living room centers around the cozy pellet stove which includes instructions for any guests who would like to use it. STUDY Just off the living room is the study. This is a three seasons room that can get chilly in the winter months but has a space heater that will keep it plenty warm. The couch folds into a bed for extra sleeping space and the bistro table makes a great spot to work, if you must! ;-) Be sure to check out all the games in the cabinet as well. BACK PORCH Doors off the study and dining area both open onto the back porch equipped with patio furniture in the warmer months. The backyard is completely fenced and includes a fire pit, pizza chiminea, and propane grill available for guest use. Note: the propane may need to be filled before use. (We'll be happy to reimburse you if so.) The fence is wire so may not be suitable for containing especially energetic pups. PRIVATE TRAILS While outside be sure you don't miss a walk around the private cleared trails. Follow the trees marked with ribbon. It's a beautiful stroll in any season. There are snow shoes available for use (two adult pairs, one child pair.) BASEMENT / 3RD BEDROOM Back inside you can head to the basement which doubles as a third bedroom. The sectional couch converts to a bed and has extra linens stored in the chaise. There's also a dry bar and smart TV in this space. LAUNDRY Washer and Dryer are downstairs as well and detergent is provided. LOFT Heading back up to the top floor you will find the beautiful wooden loft complete with two full beds, dresser, and closet. Notable Features: -High-speed internet -Family room with dry bar -Fenced yard makes it easy for pets or the little ones! (Note: Wire fencing may not be suitable for particularly excitable dogs.) -One queen size bed in master bedroom -Large loft with two full size beds -Two futon sofa beds (one in study, one in basement) -Workspace in study / sunroom -Smart TV with Netflix / Hulu etc. available with own login -Coffee machine with complimentary coffee -Fully equipped kitchen -Washer / Dryer with complimentary detergent -Fresh linens -Iron / Ironing board -Complimentary shampoo / body wash -Hair dryer and curling iron -Towels -Balls / games -Kids / baby items -Highchair -Pack and Play -Outdoor pizza chiminea and propane grill -Fire pit -Backyard trails -Snowshoes (two adult pairs, one child pair) -Close to Center Ossipee, Lake Winnipesaukee, White Lake State Park (snowmobiling), and hiking

We had a great time exploring the area and relaxing in the mountains with our 2 pups! The house was great and we loved that there was a fenced in area for our dogs

The place was a nice cozy place to get snowed in during the snowstorm. :-) It was well stocked with all the essentials and had a lot of personal touches to make us feel welcome.
