Beautiful place. Great staff and amenities. Quite, peaceful with bus stop nearby. It was hard to get a taxi.

The location was lovely - right on the shore, with picnic tables set in the grounds outside. Lots of trees and shade. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was in good working order.

Only two problems. Breakfast was 100 shekels extra - it usually goes with the price of the room in other places. So we opted to do our own simple breakfast. Also someone set our refrigerator way too low, and both my boiled eggs for breakfast and my yoghrt were frozen.

The staff were brilliant, food was great, my wife would go back in a heartbeat. The location was ideal.

Being right over the Kinneret was wonderful. The breakfast was good. It was quiet. It was clean. The shower didn't leak onto the floor, that is rare in Israel. Spacious room.

We chose this hotel because they gave us a choice of 1 queen size bed or 2 twins. I even wrote them to confirm, one Queen. The bed was 2 twins pushed together. The blankets & sheets were fitted for twin beds. Not great for a couple. The towels were small & the soap/shampoo was all in one in a dispenser.

the room was poor and old. the sheets weren’t clean, we had cockroach in the room!! the bathroom was pretty stinky. the walls are very thick and we heard the family next door. the breakfast was very simple and basic. not value for money..

1. You need a car to travel from the hotel anywhere around since there are no sidewalks in that area on road 90. The hotel has no beach, but a nice path down to the lake. One big weakness is the staff at the reception - they have (I would dare say, absolutely) no knowledge of their surroundings and could not provide a minimal advice on how to reach Kinneret Cemetery and Rachel's the poet resting place (which we found ourselves, a short walk, about 300 m from the hotel!). It seemed like they did not even know about the place- https://101israel.com/kinneret-cemetery/ It would have been really nice to have staff who could provide some minimal advice given the superb location of the hotel near Degania, Knneret, and Tzemach. 2. We paid for a room with three beds- the third bed was not great- narrow and hard with beddings that were not properly done. 3. The hotel is on a cliff- there is a path down to the lake and a nice walk on the water level- but the walkaway is not well maintained (not the fault of the hotel, but the local municipality)
