We loved the location, the decor and how clean it was

The toilet was in an incredibly silly location thru a bedroom, is just not practical, and one toilet for up to 7 people not ideal. The house is advertised as two bathrooms, you do not imagine two bathrooms mean only one toilet

The location is excellent - overlooking the river.

Everything else - the property itself is a disappointment. Advertised as 3BR, but really, it is only a 2BR house. Three beds were placed in what looks like a hallway where the ONLY toilet, the laundry, and shower are all located - this is the third bedroom. It's been advertised to have a private bathroom, and I'm guessing this is it. There are 7 people in the group and the people staying in bedrooms 1 and 2 have to go inside bedroom 3 to use the toilet, disturbing and invading the privacy of the people in bedroom 3. Just imagine lying in bed and people coming in and out of your room to go to the toilet. On top of that, the toilet door does not close properly and therefore won't lock. Fortunately, there are handy men in the group who managed to fix it. Otherwise, bedroom 3 would have that lingering toilet smell. The combined dining/kitchen is too small for 7 people to eat comfortably on the dining table (the table needs to be dragged away from the wall and closer to the fridge so all 7 can sit). One has to stand up and move the chair so people can go to the kitchen or open the fridge door. The bathroom outside looks rundown. The shower head on the bath tub is too low. Tap handle is broken. The power point above the sink is too high that only a tall person can reach it. There are lots of little spiders on the tub (coming/falling down from the ceiling - could be from the exhaust). One of the towels is dirty (looks like a make-up smudge). It was advertised to have an internet facility, but not once did any of us manage to get access/connection. The group thinks this should only be advertised as a 2BR house and perhaps mention that there are 3 extra beds located in a common area and not as another bedroom, given that the only toilet is located there. The advertisement/description does not match the actual. It was overrated and described to be the 'perfect' place to stay - unfortunately, we fell for it at a price.

There is so much to be improved, Only One toilet that can only be accessed though the 3rd bedroom was the worst feature. As we had many elderly guests that needed to use the toilet many times a night (6) there were so many interruptions for the person/ people in that room, doors creaked, lights, toilet flushing. The shower in this room didn’t have a soap holder! simple but who puts their bar of soap on the floor of the shower? The other shower didn’t have a window or exhaust fan and the PowerPoint was high above the sink my friend couldn’t reach it to plug in her hairdryer. A lot of the windows had been painted shut. Which was annoying in the kitchen as I wanted to open to let the oven heat out. The white/ cream carpet in the front entrance was scary. The dining room table when pulled away from the wall to use all six setting meant it was difficult to get past to use the toilet.the space was just too tight. For a house with the bedding for 7 it just doesn’t have the facilities or room to cope. It should be 2 bedrooms 4 people only. Our party of 5 left a day early. Even though we had paid $2300 for 4 nights. Lesson learnt the expensive way.
