location is good, staff very nice.

Firstly, we were in room 102 which had a terrible sewage smell after insisting to be changed, manager gave us another one in the same floor- which was slightly better.
The hotel is relately new and service is not grear at least not to a 4star hotel standard- there is always a lot of people around you asking if everything is OK and particularly at breakfast is very disorganized.
Music is overall also very loud for the ambiance of the hotel ( ourselves and other guests complained about it into 2 occasions as we also need to use the common areas to work).
The sauna and the gym are the plus of the hotel as well as the rooftop and overall staff is friendly but there is still room for improvement in certain aspects that management needs to look into it.

Very new, great spec and condition. Staff are friendly but reception not very useful.
Rooms modern, great shower etc but whilst looks amazing things like randomly designed light switches, very thin walls are pretty more i could hear the room next dooe brushing teeth, luckily that was all. Was a bit annoyed I couldnt get any milk to my room for tea.. pools amazing but could do with cleaning. Bar and restaurant was v good

It was great. Highly recommended.

Very nice new hotel. Lower floors with sea view quite noisy and can't see the sea. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Gonzales an other waitresses in the restaurant and Katerina & Barbera in the Spa.
It is quite a walk to the beach although. No direct access to the beach.

Stay was fantastic. Staff were exceptional and the food, although an unconventional menu, was very good.
Both outdoor pool and spa were great. The views from both are superb.
A special mention for breakfast. Very fresh, high quality produce with very attentive and helpful staff.
Our only gripe? the busy road directly outside makes the balcony very very noisy with traffic, take headphones with you. Inside the hotel the vibe is one of calm and relaxation, just what we needed.
We had a suite which had three adults happy and well slept. We were going to stay at the palacio, I’m so glad we didn’t. Thank you to all the team, you’re doing a great job.

Beautiful and chic hotel in a quaint neighborhood. Easy access to train, great restaurants nearby, and on-site bar, spac, and restaurant were an added bonus. Weather was note great when we visit, so unable to walk along the nearby waters

Wonderful new resort, designed to look like a cruise ship. Very modern. Friendly English-speaking staff. Lovely hostess and restaurant service. Compliments to the chef for amazing dishes and wine selection. I love the ocean view balcony. Plus: they will hold your luggage before or after check out time, allowing you the opportunity to explore the city. Con: I wish the rooftop was open past 6:30. I would have lived to spend more time there. Pool is lovely.

Really nice Modern Hotel.
Really nice design.
I was`nt impressed with the bar menu and the music in the lift was extremely annoying but that would be the only negatives. All in all a lovely hotel and i will definately stay there again.
Staff were all polite as well

Thanks to Expedia, my birthday getaway was nothing short of perfection. The booking process was seamless, and every detail was meticulously arranged, ensuring a stress-free escape. As soon as I arrived at Evolutions Hotel, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire week.
Let's talk about the superb amenities! The dry cleaning service was a lifesaver, ensuring that I always looked and felt my best throughout my stay. Room service was top-notch, with delicious meals delivered right to my door whenever I desired. And the guest relations team? Absolutely phenomenal. The receptionist went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even scheduling a nail appointment for me to indulge in some pampering.
My room was a sanctuary of comfort and style, complete with stunning views and every convenience imaginable. But what truly set Evolutions Hotel apart was the exceptional attention to detail. From the personalized massages and spa areas to the welcome amenities to the thoughtful gestures like complimentary wine and roses for my birthday and Valentine's Day celebrations, every moment felt tailored to perfection.

An absolutely beautiful hotel that smells sooo good! I hope they’ll sell their signature scent one day! Not only was it extremely clean, the staff was truly attentive, extremely nice and helpful! I had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Rita Sequeira who gave us great recommendations on places to go and best ways to travel around. She is an absolute sweetheart! The food was so delicious! Top favorite meals were the wagyu barbeque brisket, Picaha burger and the red mullet! Enjoyed working out in the gym with such a beautiful view! I can’t wait to stay there again!

This hotel has such a beautiful atmosphere and was perfect for relaxing and unwinding by the sea. I had a gorgeous ocean view and enjoyed the restaurant and spa facilities. The train station is a short walk, so very convenient to get to Lisbon, or other towns. Would definitely come back in the warmer months to really enjoy the rooftop!

I agree with other reviews that there is confusion amongst the staff and that important things are left uncommunicated. This is NOT a dog friendly hotel as advertised. The whole group apparently, and not just this one location. I was made to sign a form saying my dog wouldn't be left in the room, and then was told the dog was not even allowed in the lobby. So what was I to do during my spa treatment or dinner with friends? This policy makes no sense at all. The GM, even though I asked twice to speak with him/her, was unavailable. There was confusion about my credit card used as a guarantee for F&B and spa charges. Apparently you must choose an exact amount and handing over your card at check in is not enough?! And payment is taken directly at the spa so bring your credit card with you! I was not informed. I wanted to spend my last couple of hours in the spa before check out. The chairs were full inside, so I asked that the door be unlocked to the terrace lounge chairs. It was a glorious day. I was told they are not allowed to open outside, although it had been open the previous day...in not nice weather. I just gave up. Stay was riddled with confusion and frustration, even after speaking with several managers. Not the GM though. Advice: when a guest asks to speak to the GM, say of course! Then get the highest ranking person in the building. Telling a guest that they must first explain the issues before a manager is alerted only makes the guest more angry. I will not return.

The hotel is a very nice building , with an excellent location however the standard of service especially front of house is quite low ( especially for the star rating they advertise themselves as )
Most of the front desk staff seems to be very ill prepared / trained and little to no sense of hospitality . Despite have a very well presented in nicely designed uniforms and enthusiastic looking group of people they like the basics from basic service orientation for the hospitality industry things such as not getting luggage assistance at check in and not even being offered , when I got package ( DHL deliveries) I got not notification and they would ask me to contact their security team directly instead of verifiying. They seem to be all working as units and not as a cohesive hotel team .Or even housekeeping being instructed to do basic things such as replace a box of tissues when it’s empty in the bathroom , there seems to be a lack of preparation/ training or some corner cutting . There’s also no room service. In terms of the positives their spa and bar staff all seem lovely , and attentive to customers in general, the day manager that told me she was also the spa manager offered me a complimentary spa treatment due to my negative experience with front of house which I really appreciate the gesture. The property has great potential but they need to not cut as many corners and perhaps provide better guidance or training to their teams especially those of the front desk .

The hotel has an amazing atmosphere and very friendly and serviceminded staff.
The Roms and facilitets are very nice with a hint of Nordic style.
Only thing that surprised us was, that a newly constructed hotel in 2023 had so bad solutions in terms of isolation/heating of the lobby and coworking areas - this is not very environmental sustainable.

We had booked a double room. At Checkin we were told we could only ave a twin but we could change to a double. Due to meetings we were unable to do the room move and we were told we could not have a double. The 3rd day we were told they would put the beds together (we knew this was impossible due to the wall light positions. Obviously this never happened.
The towels were old and threadbare, the bath plug was too small for the bath hole, the shower head did not stay on its wall socket, the first night we were given a bottle of water and then told we had to pay for any other water during our stay.
The pillows are not very thick and are lumpy.
The best thing about this hotel is the position. So if you can over look these negatives and want a position that is walkable into Cascais then it is a good.

Booked a sea view room with a queen bed. Paid for a sea view room with a queen bed. Got a non-sea view room with a queen bed, told I wouldn't be refunded the difference b/c I booked w Hotels.com. Overall the rooms are more than bit past their prime, very uncomfortable bed.

Near a busy road and a nightclub who's music you could hear until 5am I was on the sixth floor at the front so it might be quiet at the back. I had a nice sea view of the coast disappointed I didn't get a balcony. Friendly staff Nice carpet in the rooms, the double bed was wonderfully large but there was no chair or anywhere to sit Tiny mini bar Bathrooms could do with update

I stayed at SANA Estoril Hotel (SEH) for two nights while attending a meeting at the adjacent Esotril Congress. First the staff at the SEH was exceptionally helpful. (By the way, they have a strict policy of not checking in until 2:00 pm. So don't bother showing up early.) The location of the SEH is excellent, a short walk from the train station, casino, Congress and beach. Having said that, I was disappointed with the accommodations. The room was small - ok for a single person but would be too tight a fit for two. The overall condition of the hotel is poor. The carpets need a cleaning everywhere in the hotel. The carpet in the breakfast room was completely worn through to the padding below. The door locks to the rooms are something clunky from decades ago. The bed was about the hardest mattress I have ever experienced. The breakfast was minimal (though the view from the 4th floor breakfast room is spectacular). On the plus side, the internet was just fine and the pool was just fine. So my recommendation is to use the SEH as a base of operations for seeing the sites but do not expect a lavish experience while staying at the SEH.

Apart from taking 2 days to change me to the room I had booked - after they had put me in a single instead of a double, this was a good hotel to stay at. It did take 4 conversations and 2 days to get to my proper room which was not acceptable. Once there I found the hotel very pleasant.

The hotel is very dated and room is so small. No sockets to charge phone unless you unplug the fridge or tv.

The rooms are very very small, i am guessing not more than 12"X12" in dimension... No space to walk if you get in the room with 1 checked size baggage and a cabin bag... Bathroom and toilet is even worse... Shower/ bathroom is just 2.5"x2.5" square acrylic compartment; the shower and the hand shower are a little rusted and probably very old... No ventilation in the bathroom or the main room.. carpet smells real bad and bed sheets etc are also very old.. you can feel that old scent... I didn't even feel comfortable living in this hotel.. Even though i had paid full, i was willing to go to another hotel and stay there but unfortunately all close by hotels were full and there was no vacancy... Will never visit this hotel again and highly recommend people to stay away from this hotel.

Must of had a leak as my room had brown water stains on ceiling, room was clean but pillows not great and beds pretty hard. Its 3 stars and you get what you pay for probably slightly better options for the price out there I think.

The SANA Estoril is a nice hotel with fantastic staff, located close to the restaurants, bars, beaches, and casino of Estoril, and about 25 minutes walk (or 5-10 minute taxi/drive) to the wonderful town of Cascais.
The hotel itself is nicely furbished and clean. Our room was comfortable and clean, though a little tight for space (particularly in the bathroom where the door would only open half way before hitting the toilet). The bed was very comfortable however.
The check-in and check-out experiences were seamless - over in 2-3 minutes, dealt with by very friendly front desk staff.
We had breakfast in the hotel a number of days, which was fine (fairly standard quality for Portugal or Spain), though the options did get a little tiresome after a few days. The breakfast room and staff however were both lovely.
The pool isn't huge and there wasn't a huge amount of chairs and sun loungers - however it was never too busy while we were there (before the start of the summer season), and with so many good beaches near by, the pool is great for those times you just want a quick swim.
Arguably the highlight of the hotel is the bar. It's relatively small (though there is a nice balcony and reading room adjacent, both of which you can bring your drinks to), but it's a fantastic experience thanks to Philip the bar tender, who demonstrates the art of bar tending - including brilliant classic cocktails - and does so with great humour and enthusiasm, someone who clearly loves their job.
