Located in Manhattan Beach, this lovely house for $1,626 per night is a great option for your next break. Welcome to resort beach living. Close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Newly renovated 4,000 square feet (370 sq. m) open and airy floor plan. A massive renovation in 2023, including five new bathrooms, brand new oak flooring, lighting, kitchen, furniture, etc. It's gorgeous. Four spacious bedrooms with large closets and private baths are upstairs, while downstairs features a living room, dining room, bathroom, and open kitchen/great room. The kitchen features a large island with a bar that is great for entertaining. The kitchen has top-of-the-line appliances; Viking range, Thermador double ovens, microwave, two sinks for kitchen prep, double huge GE Monogram refrigerator, KitchenAid dishwasher, walk-in pantry, and butler's pantry for entertaining. Most homes near the beach have little or no backyard. Our yard is extra wide, which allowed us to include a large backyard with a pool that is ideal for entertaining, as you will see in the photos. A large sliding door from the great room opens out to the back yard combining into a large, inviting entertaining area for socializing, swimming, watching TV, eating, and BBQ'ing. Downstairs is a four-car garage with bicycles, boogie boards, a wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. We will leave all our bikes, surfboards, paddleboards, and room for two cars at your disposal. There is also plenty of street parking. It is a short walk (8 minutes) to the beach, and when you return, you can rinse off in the outdoor shower. And take a dip in the jacuzzi or jump in the pool. We take our bikes or scooters at least once a week to one of the many local restaurants, about a 15-minute flat walk - perfect for kids or adults. There is a chip trail across the street for running or walking and a park at the local school one block away with a soccer field and playground. Tennis, golf, and other parks are nearby as well. Our family (6 adults + a baby) just spent a wonderful week in this spacious home and I must recommend it highly! The owners have supplied and equipped any renter all they need to truly enjoy the vacation life of Manhattan Beach. We had a car but really didn't use it because the house is located within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, morning coffee, or beach sand. The bikes they supplied and the stroller we brought provided all the transportation we needed for the week. Besides, the kitchen, backyard, and entertainment at the house made it attractive to sleep late, eat in and just relax there, as well. The owners were gracious and easy to work with, and made us feel very welcome. If you're looking for space, comfort, and location, this house will provide it all.

We recently returned from a week stay at this beautiful home. It was so peaceful and felt like a true beach home in the best sense. High end appliances in the kitchen, walking distance to a family friendly beach, plus shops and restaurants. Easy access to many LA attractions. The front room is a beautiful octagon shaped space with a game set. We brought along checkers and chess and spent many hours in there with some "intense" family games. A lovely place to stay with family. Thank you Riddell family for sharing your home.

What a beautiful home! Although we live in Los Angeles, my husband and I had never stayed in Manhattan Beach and, thanks to our fantastic living situation, we had a fantastic time! We were a short walk to the beach, which made everything so easy. The house itself is ideal for a family, with a large great room and a DREAM kitchen. The house came fully stocked with everything we could have possibly needed, including an endless supply of beach towels, beach toys, and a vast amount of board games for the whole family. The house was spic and span when we got there and easy to maintain, despite its large size. My kids have been asking when we can go back, so well be planning our next trip soon!
