Located in Rancho Bernardo, this charming condo for $189 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Lovely studio suite with kitchenette and spacious bathroom located in a quiet, peaceful, safe Rancho Bernardo neighborhood. This stunning, completely furnished unit with French doors overlooks a beautiful brick patio with hot tub. Guests enter by a private entrance using keypad accessed via a fenced in, well-lit patio. This property includes two rental units. This unit is Suite A, which is a private guest suite that is attached to the main home. However, it has its own entrance and feels secluded from the main residence. While the patio and its furniture is designated for use by the occupants of Suite A, it is also used as a walkway to access Suite B. The patio includes a large hot tub that is shared by the occupants of both rental suites. In order to make guests comfortable, there is a hot tub sign-up board so that guests from only one suite will be using the hot tub at any given time. Note: The property has 3 external Ring cameras: 1 facing the driveway, 1 facing the gate entrance/patio for Suite A, and 1 facing the patio for Suite B. The hot tub is partially in view of the camera facing Suite B. The Location: Rancho Bernardo is a quiet and safe master-planned community that sits in the northern hills of San Diego, California. It consists largely of canyons, rolling hills, and has developed into a sprawling community with shopping malls, golf courses and office parks. Rancho Bernardo is a bedroom community of San Diego. Known for its great schools and active retirement communities and is a great place to stay if visiting relatives in the area or wishing to visit San Diego but have a slower pace when you return home from the city. Getting Around: This is a suburb located 20 minutes north of San Diego so a car is recommended. Uber/Lyft are very active in San Diego and the ample street parking guarantees that you will always have parking should you venture out into greater San Diego.

A quiet, beautiful neighborhood made for a safe, peaceful morning walk with neighbors offering a friendly “good morning” as I passed by.
The studio was more than sufficient for my solo visit. The split AC unit kept it nice and cool. A nice selection of coffee pods for my morning brew; pillows (down, memory, etc) for sleeping. Shower dispenser included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Thick, plush towels.
Being a retiree, I felt safe and comfortable in this well decorated studio. It was perfect for me as I vacationed with my grandchildren in the area. Thank you Mike for a lovely visit.

Generally speaking our stay was just ok. The location was great and the neighborhood was vert nice. The property though was too small for us. We couldn’t take advantage of the nice patio due to weather so we were quite confined. We also had issues with ongoing construction at the adjoining residence. We like to cook but the kitchen was limited and lacked a stove. All of this wouldn’t have mattered if the weather had been better. All in all we enjoyed are stay but probably would not stay there again.

I booked this property for my elderly parents visiting for Thanksgiving. This place was in a nice quiet neighborhood near my house in RB and very clean. It had a nice patio/yard for lounging and perfect for my parents. The check-in process was easy and host very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a property in this area.

I needed a place close to my new job in Poway while in town for training and stumbled on this. So much nicer than a hotel. Clean, private, very much felt at home. Mike was as good of host as you could have asked for.

Property location was great. It was well stocked and very clean. Our only issue was the bed size. It stated it was a king bed under the bedroom details which was important to us. It has since been changed and now shows as a queen bed. A bit too much contact with owner. Would have preferred to just have a phone number so we could reach out if we needed anything. Check in and checkout instructions were clear. Would stay here again.

We were visiting family who lived nearby and appreciated the flexibility for checking in and out. Mike was an awesome host and the grounds were in beautiful full bloom! We visited our son’s family for our grandson’s graduation. Their home was just 2 miles from this property. It was close but gave us a oasis in the midst of excitement. There is everything one could want or need in this rental. Mike, the owner, explained everything about the property and was available for anything we needed. Mike is a very pleasant woman and a gracious host.
We spent a great deal of time on the patio enjoying a breeze, the sun and hummingbirds at their feeder. We ate our meals on the patio. We highly recommend this place. It was perfect!

The accommodations were very clean, the kitchen well stocked & the bed quite comfortable. The private entrance essential & the patio with jacuzzi a nice bonus. Can't say enough good things about our delightful stay at Mike's beautiful, cozy "cottage"! We stayed here for a week while visiting family and friends in San Diego and it was a perfect home base nestled in a quiet and beautiful Rancho Bernardo neighborhood.
The amenities were superb, Mike was so gracious and welcoming. She has gone to great lengths to put herself in her guest's place to create a tranquil getaway environment where you want for nothing and everything is provided. The room's Parisian-themed decor is lovely and inviting, it's spotlessly clean and looks like it belongs in the pages of a home decorator magazine. We especially enjoyed the little courtyard hideaway with lots of room for guests and a relaxing hot tub in which to end the day..
If you're thinking at all about an affordable getaway spot in San Diego, you need to to check this one out. So much a cut above the rest. We will definitely be staying here again!

The studio has a great bathroom and a lovely courtyard. I rented it because it was located minutes from my brother's house. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I loved the Sprouts shopping center nearby. I also had a massage which costs only $40 per hour (in the shopping center.)

My wife and I stayed at Mike's place in mid-September 2017 and loved it. It was perfect for our needs, and Mike is the perfect hostess. She's as available as you need, but doesn't interfere in any way. The space is just wonderful. Clean, extremely well-stocked, and a fantastic outdoor space for the guests' use, including a new hot tub! Speaking of the outdoor space, my wife totally loved being able to watch the hummingbirds and finches come to the feeders that were right outside of our door every day. Mike even provided some snacks and breakfast items that came in very handy a couple of times when we were in a rush or didn't plan well for the next day. We are VRBO owners, too, and we know what it takes to deliver a home in this condition and with the amenities it has. Mike exceeded our expectations. If we ever have the opportunity to visit the area again, you can count on us staying at Mike's if she'll have us back. Thank you, Mike!
