Welcome to our home at Kauhale Makai 612. Our home was fully and immaculately remodeled in March of 2023. Our beautiful and pristine two-bedroom condo sits on the top (sixth floor) of the unit. The complex offers two elevators and laundry access on each floor. Our home is breathtakingly beautiful on the inside and the outside! The inside boasts two custom bedrooms. The principal bedroom features a king bed, on-suite bathroom and breathtaking views of the ocean and the west Maui mountains. The second bedroom features a queen bed as well as an on-suite bathroom. Both full-size bathrooms offer custom vanities, full showers, and designer touches. Our home is equipped with central air for a comfortable stay. The fully stocked kitchen features brand-new stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops, a bar, and a table. Not a single detail has been overlooked. The living area includes a memory-foam, comfortable pull-out sofa facing our brand-new Smart TV. The outside lanai is incredibly spacious and accessible from the living area or master bedroom. Enjoy morning coffee and evening dinner on the lanai as you bask in the views of the ocean and west Maui mountains. During whale season (Dec 15 - April 15) you can watch for whales by day and enjoy the sunset by night. A short stroll away is Kalepolepo Beach Park, a small and stunningly beautiful Kihei beach. Because Kalepolepo was a historic fish pond it keeps big waves and crowds at bay. Enjoy watching turtles who love to bask on the beach’s rocks, stroll along the sandy shores, or grill up a delicious lunch. We provide all the necessary linens for the bedrooms and bathrooms. We also provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. Enjoy one of the world’s most coveted travel destinations in this professionally designed, well-appointed space.

We enjoyed our stay in this Kauhale Makai unit very much. In addition to it being super clean and recently renovated, I loved all the little touches (such as nightlights, a drying rack for swimsuits, and beach chairs) that the owner provided for guests. Joe was very responsive to any questions we had and offered to work with us on a flexible check out time, which we really appreciated!

This unit is amazing! Everything is new and updated and beautifully done. Beds were so comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Loved our view from the top floor was. The beach was never busy and the water was calm.
Recommendations: Rent a paddle board delivery for your stay.
Get Poke at Tamura's Fine Wine and Liquors, Brunch at Nalu's and anything at OAO Sushi Go food truck.
Bring Binoculars! You can see whales from the beach!

Home was beautiful with an amazing view! Room was as pictured with nice amenities. Property had a shared pool and hot tub which we frequented during our stay. It was a short walk to a beach which was empty! The location was great too, a short drive to many restaurants and businesses. I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful view, felt so private and peaceful and everything was updated and nice inside. Our family with 3 boys loved it. Great value, wish I could visit more often and stay here

This property is nicely updated and in a great location to easily get to any part of the island. The view out of the 2 sliding doors is amazing. This location is the perfect place to watch the sunset. I can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Had a wonderful stay! Pictures are exactly what it looks like in person. Loved the views! Enjoyed having beach chairs and umbrella! Very convenient to have a cooler bag too, it came in super handy for our day on the road to Hana! Joe was responsive. Laundry was onsite. Must have quarters or use their app. Overall, It was a pleasant, relaxing stay.

We came to Maui for a long weekend and found the perfect condo to stay at. It was clean. The beds were super comfortable and the view is fantastic. We didn’t spend much time in the condo because, you know, Maui. But it was a great place to have as a home base.

Beautifully remodeled! Clean & well stocked condo! Loved the separation of the bedrooms, sitting on the lanai morning and night, having the a/c when needed, and same floor laundry room! Easy location in north Kihei. Would definitely stay again! Mahalo!

The place was just as it is listed. Very up to date and had everything we could possibly need. Beach chairs and cooler were a huge plus. And the view was incredible! Nice pool and the property was steps from the beach. Will definitely look at this again.

Completely remodeled is no exaggeration. This place is beautiful! The ocean view from the balcony is stunning and the sunsets were gorgeous. We'd never been to Maui and were very happy we chose Kehei and Kauhale Makai in particular. Joe was a 5+ owner/host who responded immediately and was very accommodating. Thanks Joe!

This is a beautiful ocean facing condo centrally located in Kihei. The property is completely updated and has everything you need for your stay. My niece and I were here celebrating her college graduation. Joe was a wonderful host.

This condo exceeded our expectations. The owner thought of everything. We made use of the beach chairs, boogie board, and especially the sand free beach towels! Everything was thought of to make the stay comfortable for the guests. Laundry and pool were awesome as well! Thank you!

Relaxing and beautiful condo, decorated perfectly. Owners were extremely responsive and helpful. View was gorgeous and location ideal. Pool and hot tub were fun for a low key visit since we’re not typical tourists looking to sightsee. Location is central for plenty of that if you’re looking for it, though. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was clean, modern, and we'll stocked. We all slept great - beds were comfortable and unit was quiet. The view is beautiful - we got amazing sunset photos on the beach right in front of the property. Highly recommend!

We’ve been to Maui a few times before and Joe’s place is the best. Very clean, beautifully decorated, modern, and well located in Kihei. Joe’s unit is on the top floor at the end of the building, facing the ocean (not the pool) so it was extremely peaceful and quiet. The inner facing units seem to have a different vibe than the outer facing ones. The beach in front got rough when the afternoon winds picked up but there is a reef protected beach 1 minute away. The chairs, towels and cooler were so helpful to have. Laundry on the same floor made it easy to wash a couple loads at a time. Joe was very responsive to our questions. We would love to stay here again!

The condo was so comfortable to stay in. You can tell the owners put a lot of attention to detail and everything in the condo from the dish ware and utensils to the pillows are such high quality. I wish I would have paid more attention to what was included in the condo because I would have packed less. Specifically, each bathroom had a blow dryer, body wash and shampoo and conditioner. The owner supplies some great Tommy Bahama beach chairs, a Tommy Bahama beach umbrella and an insulated beach bag! SO convenient!! The property is nice and low key, so is Kihei. I didn't have any issues with the other tenants and couldn't hear any neighbors being on the top floor. The laundromat on the same floor was helpful for not overpacking too. The view is spectacular to wake up to and the beach just a short walk from the condo has amazing sunsets and turtles swimming by if you look closely. All in all we had such a great time and relaxing stay in this lovely condo.

We recently stayed here for a week on our first trip to Maui. This is a fantastic location with easy access to just about anywhere on the island. The unit was recently remodeled and had everything we needed for our stay. we would gladly stay here again on a future trip.

We had a wonderful time here! The condo is exactly as advertised, beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The complex is quiet with plentiful parking. We appreciated being on the top floor with no one above us and wonderful views of the waterfront. Joe is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We are so happy we booked the unit and would definitely stay again in the future. We were very pleased that the unit and location were exactly as shown on the Vrbo site. (we have experienced otherwise) This unit was clean and beautiful, with an amazing view and a perfect location. We highly recommend this unit and if we were to return to Maui would stay here again.

We stayed for several nights and found that the unit was so well equipped and comfortable that we didn't even want to eat out. The condo feels much larger than we expected and is newly renovated. The finishes and amenities are very high end, and the view of the ocean, beach and mountains are great. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better spot for our Maui getaway. Thanks so much to Joe for great communication and support before and during our trip. We'll be back!

Beautiful newly remodeled and updated condo. Was perfect for our long stay. Apartment was super clean with brand new everything. Condo itself was great for a family or longer stay when you need access to a full kitchen and laundry room. I had a toddler (16 month) and they had a pack n play and fully stocked rooms with linens / pillows and blankets which she likes too.Fully stocked kitchen. Has towels, beach chairs , cooler, beach blankets and beach umbrella which came in very handy. Has two big sized bedrooms - master with a King size bed , tv and it's own bathroom . The second room has a queen size bed and it's own bathroom. Has a big size family room with a tv and adjacent space for the fold out dinner table and two chair counter. Patio with entrance from master and family room . Patio has tables and chairs. Great location in Kihei with a private beach as your backyard. Close to all the family friendly beaches( kamaole, big beach- my fav, Mākena beach etc) , great local food spots close by ( Kihei caffe, cafe olei, miso phat, Paia fish market, tamuras poke etc) and resorts and shopping in Wailea . Also short drive 20 min to Lahaina and downtown area , the airport (ogg) and Makawao . Really great location for anything you want to do in Maui. Close to a lot of businesses that do whale watching, surfing , snorkeling etc.

Would overall give it 5 star and stay here again if we do come back to Maui!

My husband and I stayed in Kihei for a few short days on our last days in Maui. The only thing I regret about our trip is that we didn't book this brand new unit for our entire trip. We stayed in another condo in Lahaina and it was not even comparable to this amazing unit.
The unit has everything we could think of wanting. A fully stocked kitchen was so nice for making dinners and breakfasts and for watching the sunrises. The view out of the condo is breathtaking. I can't wait to go back and book this condo for our entire trip.

We were fortunate to be the first family to stay in this newly-remodeled Kihei Condo. The location is great and the beach is extremely close. We loved watching the sunsets on the 6th floor balcony. Very tasteful, modern remodel with all new everything from floor to ceiling. The bed was perfect. The kitchen was by far the most well-stocked kitchen of any property we've stayed at. The owner thought of everything! Highly recommended place to stay in Kihei.

The ocean views from the lanai are amazing while having breakfast and watching whales. The attention to detail of this unit is beyond any other unit I have stayed in. It was nice being on the top floor to not have to hear people above you. The elevator was quick and available for quick access to the unit. We will be back to this great unit and can’t wait to watch the ocean from the unit--AMAZING! This unit is incredible. Selfishly I want to keep it all to myself because I hope it will be available on my next trip to Maui.
