Authentic experience, this is a truly family run B&B with a lot of detail and love put in. The food was good, the people better and I will be back as the access to the Mountain ranges, hiking routes and biking trails is all outside the door.

Due to Corona, there was no breakfast buffet but they took the extra effort and made cute, individual table platters. This was much appreciated and made our stay feel more personal.

They do not take card so you will need to pay beforehand. This is not the biggest issue as they did tell us before we arrived. We were not from Germany so it did take a day for the payment to reflect. As I said, it was not a deal breaker and I understand that credit card fees are pesky but I would have appreciated the convenience of paying at the location, even if there was an extra card fee.

There were amazing walks just up the road into the woods, leading to lots of interesting views. The bus stop and ferry stop were close and convenient. The room was good, because it had a separate seating area to the bedroom. Friendly staff.

The furniture is very pretty

I made the mistake to give the WiFi for granted. Another thing that disappointed me is that they state to speak German and English, but the truth is that nobody was available to speak in English with us. We were able to understand each other because we speak a very basic German and the staff was kind enough to speak slowly.
