This apartment is totally amazing overlooking the harbour of Heraklion. Twenty minutes walk to ferries or airport. Set in quiet neighbourhood of Alikarnosos with a small supermarket close by and then bakery and bus links on main road area past central church square. Bus station to visit all of Crete 20 minutes walk also. Every facility in this 2 bed apartment has been thought of, even including beach towels and kids toys. Superb outside balcony area with barbecue. Fully equipped kitchen with all utensils for a family or group stay. I was totally blown away with this apartment and the sunset view unbelievable.

Some people may not like close proximity of airport and overhead planes but this did not bother me and does not affect you indoors.

La proximité de l'aéroport, la gentillesse et la disponibilité du propriétaire, l'appartement situé aux dernier étage avec vue sur la mer.

L'emplacement à 20 minutes a pieds du centre historique. Les restaurants et magasins à proximité. L'accueil. Le logement bien équipé. L'ascenseur pour accéder à l'appartement, les terrasses avec vue sur mer. Les 2 WC.

Le bruit... L'appartement est malheureusement juste dans le couloir de décollage des avions. On pourrait les toucher. Bon, au bout de 2 nuits on s'habitue. Le matelas de la chambre rouge est très mou, dormir à 2 est compliqué, car on bascule systématiquement au centre. Dommage.

Communication with the host.

Clean, spacious and comfortable apartment located 5 minutes by car to the ferry port or +/-30 minutes by foot to the centre of the old town. All amenities (WiFi, air conditioning, kitchen & bathroom supplies) present and working without issues. Friendly and responsive host.

Dedicated parking was not available but (free) street parking available less than 50m away.

The apparment is very comfortable, very clean and has all the necessities. Very nice wiews. The terrace is great for the evenings, especially after the sweltering heat during the day. There are a few restaurants very close by where you can eat well. We have been very comfortable and Maxim has been a very good host.

Very nice apartment. modern, well-equipped, with interesting innovations. Close to the airport, that was the reason for choosing it. It is approximately 40 minutes on foot to the city centre and about 30 minutes to the airport (approx.7-10 minutes by taxi). The two bedrooms are very comfortable, the beds are really good. The common sitting area and the kitchen is well equipped. we had enough amenities and towels. The loveliest thing for us was the huge terrace, facing the cruise ship terminal, and the views of sunsets were stunning. the sound of airlines is really big, but it is what you get choosing an apartment close to the airport, so that didn't bother us at all. A very touching pleasant and not planned surprise - the owner offered to take us to the airport, that was so lovely, thank you so much. The area was really safe, very good supermarket 100 metres from the apartment.

The sleeping sofa was ok for 2 nights, but not for a longer stay.
