The location was great for us. The layout and number of bedrooms was good for us. We appreciated having the ability to do laundry. We also enjoyed the air conditioning. It was fairly well equipped with a few exceptions (see below). We think that this could be an exceptional property but there are some issues that need to be addressed.

We were quite dismayed upon arrival with the state of the yard. We were not able to use the yard to sit outside because it was completely overtaken by weeds that were 2 feet tall. I even pulled weeds out of the air conditioning unit in fear that they would get tangled in the blades and break it. I had to go in search of hand towels and dish towels because there were none left in view. Also, had to go searching for extra toilet paper and there was no facial tissue to be found. The kitchen was lacking a few items, such as bowls to put things in and there was only one oven mitt. There wasn’t a bottle opener or a colander. The dishwasher had a very unpleasant smell when it was opened and the only glasses available were wine glasses. When we opened the garage door to put out garbage and recycling, there was a nauseating odour. The pillows on the beds were not very comfortable.

It’s in a quiet neighbourhood.

Privacy with neighbours; they tend to be outside and can see inside the living room and kitchen. No blinds provided in the living room.
