You can choose to dine inside at the generous table enveloped by gorgeous views or al fresco under the stars on the XL porch watching the amazing wildlife on the marsh. The King Master suite on the first level affords a private refuge with a sitting area, outdoor porch access and en suite bath. This main floor master suite with office/sitting room provides a King bed as well as a sleeper sofa for 2 for those who may want to keep a few little ones close by. This hidden tucked away space also allows for peaceful solitude, quiet workspace or afternoon nap time. The first-floor bedrooms are extra-large and provides a lot of variations of bedding for large families and friends to join in the fun. Two families can certainly find enough space to be together and separate in this home. *A very short cart ride gets you to the Shoal's club, and the home participates in the rental program that allows our welcomed guests the option to purchase their own guest membership from the club. This house comes with a 6-seat and a 4-seat golf cart, multiple adult beach bikes, beach chairs, and an abundance of beach toys, and an umbrella. Climb to the top of “Old Baldy,” which is the oldest lighthouse on the East coast. It was built in 1817 and originally commissioned by Thomas Jefferson. Hike and wind your way around live oaks hundreds of years old and through the nature paths that Revolutionary and Civil War soldiers used in the ancient Maritime Forest. An upscale grocery market, spa, and shopping area is a short golf cart ride away. Discover the Bald Head Island Conservancy at the end of South Beach, where you can learn about the island’s wildlife. Sign up for classes, including the popular evening “turtle walks” to search for and observe nesting Loggerhead Turtles.
