location was good, close to the beach in Estoril. A nice view from the decking.

There was no door on the bathroom (it had clearly broken off and hadn’t been fixed). The bathroom was also in the kitchen - so not having a door on the toilet was really poor. Pool also didn’t look clean so didn’t end up using.

The apartment was in a lovely neighbourhood, but it was not 850 yards from the nearest beach, It was 1203 yards.

We Felt pressured to set an arrival time to suit the host, rather than just letting them know the time of our arrival. It was not a two bedroom apartment. It was a 'bed area' curtained off in the living room and another 'bed area' curtained off from the room which had the refridgerator and kitchen appliances. The fridge would hum quite loudly in the night. The layout of the bathroom and cooking area was strange, no privacy for someone using the bathroom when some was cooking in the kitchen. We raised the following points, but they were not engaged by the host. 1. We reported that a window would not close, they came promptly, but it was shut and could no longer be opened. 2. There was no sunshade on the deck/patio 3. There were no dining chairs to sit at the dining table, the chairs in the apartment were far too low, to use at the table, meals were uncomfortable or eaten on your lap. 4.The pool was dirty with leaves and other garden debris and green algae in the water. 5. There were storage pallets in the garden. The only reply was " I already send all your suggestions to the office." The issues were not addressed, not even mentioned by any staff member. Noting was done about it. I booked the apartment after cancelling other studio apartment, as I thought I was getting a two bed with a pool.....how wrong I was.
