About this house rental
Enjoy this cozy 3 bedroom house, perfect for a family of 6, complete with books, TV, DVD player with many DVDs to choose, and popular games to enjoy. House sits on 3/4 acre yard with covered porch (complete with porch swing and outdoor eating area), plenty of yard space to play corn hole or other games provided, and enjoy s'mores and roasted corn in the outdoor fire pit. Indoor is clean and bright with a combination of antique and modern, comfortable furniture. All linens provided. Living room includes the perfect game or puzzle table and a stone fireplace (fire wood provided). Full kitchen includes all tableware and utensils, pots and pans, a slow cooker, blender, Keurig coffee pot, and microwave. Location close to many hiking paths, Worlds End State Park, and Loyalsock Trail (maps provided). Private Eagles Mere Lake access and canoe available for additional charge.

My friends and I were delighted with the charm of this farmhouse. It is a quick drive or longer walk to the lake but it’s a beautiful area to walk through. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were other great little amenities as well. Susan was extremely responsive and we felt cozy and relaxed the entire stay. We will be back!!

The house was cozy, although second story seemed only 6 feet tall.

We loved our stay here and the proximity to World's End state park and the Main Street Eagles Mere. The porch was lovely to hang out and eat and watch the sunset. A well stocked kitchen and pantry were appreciated by our family. We enjoyed roasting smores and watching the deer. Two gates, one on the porch and another at the top of the stairs were helpful for our children.

What a GEM in Eagles Mere! The details were so thoughtful and the house had everything we could need and then some. We will definitely be back, and recommend this house to others.

Susan has thought of everything! We were pleasantly surprised with the communication, cleanliness, and great amenities. There were plenty of games available as well as instructions for the TV. The rooms each had their own cooling unit that made it easy to stay comfortable wherever we were. There was even a grill and badminton set that we didn’t get to use - it was like a home away from home. Thank you!!

Perfect house for our family. Very "homey" and not your typical cookie-cutter house typically found on vrbo.
Everything we needed was there and Susan was responsive to all our questions. We very much enjoyed eating outside and card games on the side porch and cornhole in the shade in the side yard.
Bonus deer and pileated woodpecker sighting just across the street!
