This modern, architecturally designed house sits in a peaceful rural location with stunning panoramic views out over Mangawhai to the sparkling Pacific Ocean. From almost every location in the house and in the spa and pool, you can relax and take in the wonderful vista. Enjoy the open plan living with large sliders which roll back and give the living area an outside feel. The property is light filled and sunny and even on rainy days it is a relaxing retreat, particularly with a dip in the spa. For entertainment there is a Smart TV with Apple TV, just bring your own logins for Netflix, Disney, NEON, etc. Despite the rural location, it is ideally located as a base for all the local beaches as it is only 10 - 15 minutes drive away (check out Te Arai in the height of summer when Mangawhai Heads beach is chocka!). The shops, cafes and markets at Mangawhai Village are only a 10 minute drive and Mangawhai Heads just a few minutes further up the road. Waipu, Waipu Cove and Langs are only 15-20 minutes away. Only one bedroom has any curtains/blinds but the house's location and design provide privacy. 2. As the pool is not heated it is only operational from Labour Weekend to April inclusive. 3. LINEN: Please note that other than pillows, duvets and duvet covers, linen is not included in the tariffs but can be rented for $25 per person, further details are provided in the 'Rooms and beds' section of the listing. If you wish to add linen, please add a note to your booking with what beds you wish to use so they can be made up. We have linen as an optional extra to make a more affordable holiday for those who wish to bring their own. BOOKING PAYMENT: Although Bookabach/VRBO take your credit card details, all booking payments are made to Bach Stay NZ Limited who manage this property for the owners. Once your booking is approved, we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges). Please note the amount stated as 'Deposit Paid at Property' on the Bookabach/VRBO quote is actually a refundable bond that will be collected as part of the accommodation payment, it is not collected at the property as the wording suggests.
