This gorgeous condo features three bedrooms and two baths. It is the perfect place to enjoy your Pointe West vacation. Premier location on the TOP level (3RD FLOOR), which allows you to easily enjoy the beautiful gulf view from the living or dining space in this open floor plan condo or when relaxing on the spacious, shaded and private balcony. Conveniently positioned, it is just a short walk to the Beach Club where you can take advantage of all the amenities offered including 20,000 square feet of sundecks, infinity edge pool, hot tub, children's pool, grills, fitness center, gift shop and restaurant / bar. *This vacation rental is equipped with ring doorbell and cameras for your security and protection. This condo offers: a king bed in the master, a second bedroom with a king bed and a third bedroom with a twin XL over a queen bed. Perfect for couples or two small families vacationing together. Sleeps 8 comfortably. 3 High-Def LED TV's, WIFI, all rooms nicely appointed, and a fully equipped kitchen. A storage locker is provided with this unit. Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. You will have exclusive access to our private beach that is clean and groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax and unwind, away from the crowds. You are approximately 25 minutes from downtown Galveston and other attractions. RESORT FEE: The Pointe West Beach Club, open year-round, is a privately owned/separate entity, offering resort style amenities for guest enjoyment. Per Beach Club regulations, a maximum of 3 guests per bedroom is allowed for amenity wristband purchases. The fee is $25 per person (ages 4 and up), per stay (not per day) should you wish to enjoy these amenities. The fee includes use of the Beach Club pool, hot tubs, workout facility, the seasonally heated Bayside/lazy river pool, basketball, and pickle ball court as well as resort sponsored activities for the entire family. Sippin on Sunshine Restaurant and Bar is located at the Beach Club and is open seasonally. **It is important to note that we manage the rental of your vacation home. We are not in charge of the community grounds, pools, elevators or restaurants. Those are seperate entities. The Beach Club will directly email you an invoice for payment, should your party wish to enjoy these resort amenities. Once paid, you will pick up your amenity wristbands at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. *Please note their fees are non-refundable. Questions about the fee or resort amenities, please contact them at IMPORTANT TO KNOW: *Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 10:00 a.m. *You are welcomed before check-in & after check-out to enjoy the beach and other resort amenities if you have purchased Beach Club wristbands. *Rental is equipped with Ring doorbell. *Please note that all condos are accessible by stairs or elevators. In the event that elevators are placed out of service, stairs will be required. There are no refunds or alternatives for access to your vacation rental. *Age Requirement is 26+ *No Prom, Graduation or High School groups are permitted even with chaperones, please! CANCELLATION POLICY: *31 or More Days Prior To Your Date of Arrival: A full refund will be issued less a $100.00 administrative fee and the Travel Insurance premium, if purchased. *Cancellations 30 Days or less: No refunds or transfer of dates. TRAVEL INSURANCE: Is OFFERED for purchase when you secure your vacation reservation. Travel Insurance is coverage that can help protect you from losses from unexpected events that may occur. The hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Please review our cancellation as well as Storm and Cancellation Policies carefully!

This was my first trip to the area and the community and condo were absolutely amazing! The secluded beaches were great and the condo was gorgeous! It had everything and more than we needed. I have never stayed at a property that was stocked with everything imaginable. The kitchen was a dream! The Pointe West neighborhood was beautiful. I can’t recommend this property enough!

We had a pleasant stay while in JoAn’s condo. We unfortunately had a poor check in process and were unable to reach the host to help. JoAn did get back with us and solved the problem, but it was not until the next day. We were a little disappointed on the cleanliness of the condo. There were long grey hairs on the couch when we arrived. Some of the dishes had dried food/leftovers on them. Both showers did not drain well and water would begin pooling at the bottom after only about 5 minutes. It was incredibly helpful to have a high chair and pack and play at the condo, though, for our little one. Also, of note the mosquitos were absolutely TERRIBLE! Our group had never experienced mosquitos like this before. For the first 3-4 days when we would leave the condo and walk to the beach we would be attacked by a swarm of mosquitoes. We had bug spray and that didn’t even help. There are citronella candles in the condo but there is no lighter available to be able to use the candles. This is not on the host by any means but just awareness! Also, we could not use any of the outlets on the patio as when we tried it did create a spark and we had to reset the breaker. Overall it was a nice stay, though. Thanks JoAn!

The apartment is extremely well equipped and stocked, clean, spacious and tasteful decorated and is situated in a quiet environment with the perks of a community house with pools and fitness room. Usually we can always detect one or more shortcomings in a house we rent, but with this apartment everything was perfect. Really liked that owners have created folders with all Handy information. We really loved our stay over there and hope we can come back some time.

This property was as advertised. The kitchen is very nice. The layout of the third floor condo was great. We had one issue which was quickly addressed by the owner and resolved. If we were to stay in the Galveston area we would stay here again.

The property was just as described and everything was great. As someone who cooks a lot when we travel I really appreciated the updated kitchen, nice appliances, and good cookware. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will try for this property again if we are ever back in the Galveston area.

This condo was gorgeous. It was immaculately cleaned, well stocked, beautifully decorated, and there wasn’t a bad view anywhere you looked. We are a family of six with kiddos ranging from 11-1. This was the lightest we’ve ever had to pack. Mike and JoAn provided so many amenities. From high chairs to strollers and everything in between. This is the best stocked kitchen of any condo we’ve ever rented. There wasn’t a single kitchen item we needed we didn’t have. The balcony is breathtaking and has tons of seating options. JoAn and Mike were great to work with anytime we had questions and were superb hosts. If we ever make it back to Galveston we would want to stay here again!

We loved the property on Galveston Island. The property offered a great pool area and a short walk to the beach. The property had all the comforts of home. Very clean and updated. We were able to have a couple days of relaxation. Definitely would go back!

Great 5 night stay with family, the condo is beautiful. Communication with owners was perfect. The condo had a great view and it was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. Lots of fun beach toys available to use.

We’ve stayed in different condos at Pointe West over the years and enjoyed them all. However, the owners of this condo have truly thought of everything! The closet is full of games, the storage closet is full of toys and a wagon for the beach, and there’s a fully stocked kitchen. There are even small laundry baskets in the closets! We had such a great time and look forward to returning again in the future.

The property was exactly as advertised. This is our third stay at pointe West and I believe this is our favorite unit. It is on the third floor facing the Gulf of Mexico. High Enough that they were no mosquitoes on the porch. The elevator remains glitchy in all of the buildings. The restaurant was open. The pool was a little too busy so we enjoyed the beach and ocean instead. I particularly like to bring my bike and ride on the local trails every day. Thank you For maintaining such a nice unit!

Almost Heaven Condo, was just that and more. Mike and JoAn are just the best. Everything you could ever want or need was there in this beautiful home. It was immaculate and decorated beautifully. THE VERY BEST CONDO EVER. Thank you for allowing us to vacation in your amazing home.

We were familiar with the area, but had never stayed in one of the condos. This one looks beautiful online and it was just as beautiful in person. And had perfect accommodations for my husband and I, our two grown children and their friends. It was close to the beach club and the beach! Exactly what we needed! The beach gear in the storage unit was a blessing! The kitchen was stocked, the towels were awesome and the beds were comfy! The balcony views were so beautiful. We can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The condo was clean and very nicely decorated and had all the necessities anyone could need! The owners were friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider returning to this rental! It is a great place for families and friends to enjoy Galveston!

The Condo is at a great location, walking distance to the beach and to the Beach club (about 5 minutes each). A short car ride takes you to the lazy river (less than 5 minutes). The Condo is in great condition, and having a beach cart, chairs and umbrella available made it more convenient for us as we did not have to bring ours.
The balcony has a great Gulf view, and we had breakfast outside every day!
We have been there with 2 couples and 3 kids (one of them adult), and it was plenty of space for all of us.

This was our 2nd year to rent this property. We are all in love with it. The owners are very nice to work with. Very quick to answer any questions. The unit is absolutely beautiful, and they have thought of everything to make our stay wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!!

We had a really good time at this property. The location was perfect. It’s about 25 mins from downtown Galveston, which we loved because we could zip over to Galveston if when we wanted and come back here to enjoy the relaxed laid back vibe. Galveston was very busy so it was nice to be here to avoid the crowds and relax. We thought the home was better than advertised and the host(owners) communications was very good. They were doing some construction when we were there due to some freezing which was inconvenient but the owners communicated very well during that time which made up for the inconvenience of the work being done. I would definitely recommend this area and this home.

The property is well stocked for adults and children, we appreciated having toys and books for the kids as well as a pack and play and highchair. The view is great from the porch, we enjoyed all of our meals out there. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools. Overall this property made our trip with two little ones easy and fun.

"Almost Heaven" was a great choice for our family vacation. Great location, beautiful views, very clean condo, and excellent communication with the owners. We had a wonderful time, and would definitely stay here again. I wondered as I read the other reviews, "how can one see the sunset and the sunrise from the same balcony?" We were thrilled to witness both and we thoroughly enjoyed the patio. Because our children rise early, we also enjoyed the early morning moonlight and stars from the patio! In addition, we really appreciated the accommodations for children: a trundle bed for our 3 year old, a clean highchair and pack n' play for our 1 year old, and they loved the floor puzzles and their daily rides in the wagon.

Our family and friends totaling 9 (1 infant) stayed here very comfortably! Would definitely return here again. Our only issues were mosquitos swarming around the property(house had some bug spray available for use) and the elevator was not working which made for some sweaty unloading and loading of our stuff going up 3 flights of stairs with mosquitos. The house provided everything else we needed! Beach towels were plentiful, the canopy and beach chairs were perfect. It was just a quick walk down the boardwalk to the beach. The sand was perfect, nice and clean! Water was warm! Enjoyed the lazy river at point west too although we drove there. Beds were comfortable and AC was cool . The owners were accessible and very easy to work with! Thank you!!

This condo was a perfect getaway during Covid. It had everything you could need. There were lots of towels, kitchen essentials, games, movies, etc. There were lots of wonderful details, such as a small sewing kit, lotion in the bathroom, and tons of beach toys, etc. My favorite place was the balcony where I would relax reading a book on the couch looking out at the ocean. We had dinner every night on the balcony and the table was perfect! It was high enough to see over the railing - so you can see the beach and the sunset over the bay. My daughter even left her headphone and phone charger in the unit and JoAn mailed it back to us.
