An excellent spot in the Hartz Mountains, which is a convenient starting point for exploring the area. Elend is located in the central area of ​​the mountains and the building with the apartment is on the edge of the forest, in a quiet environment full of greenery. The apartment is well equipped and the space is organized perfectly. We were surprised by the attention to detail and many small, but very useful and nice elements (e.g. an above-standard set of dishes, a coffee brewing set with a lot of coffee, cubes and cables for charging many electronic devices at once, numerous board games, etc.). It is very clean and even styrylny. The hosts are very helpful and respond quickly to questions or requests. For 3 days we saw about 25% of the attractions from our list, so we will probably go to the Hartz Mountains and then we will definitely use this apartment.

At the time of our stay (July 2023), the streets in Elend were being renovated and it was not possible to park directly outside the building, but about 200 m away. However, the quality and comfort of the apartment fully compensated for this inconvenience.
