About this house rental

Nestled in Lake Lanier, this lovely house for $673 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This home is perfect for family gatherings or romantic getaways. The main level boasts an open floor plan with huge vaulted ceilings and lots of hardwood. Bedding accommodations include five queen beds, all with upgraded sheets and bedding, plus an additional pull out sofa bed. The fully equipped kitchen opens to a formal dining room and great room with large flat screen tv. The oversized deck off the main level includes gas grill, fire pit table, and patio set with umbrella. There is a laundry room on the main with full size washer/dryer. There are two full baths on the main with oversized shower and antique clawfoot soaking tub in the master. Downstairs contains a second family/gathering room complete with pool table and flat screen tv. A full bath and second kitchen/bar area also exists downstairs. The large bedroom downstairs has two queen beds. Double french doors lead from the family room to an outside patio complete with ping pong table and other games to entertain. The gentle path to the lake is well lit and leads to a large 32' x 32' private double slip dock with party deck; the largest allowed on the lake. The dock sits in deep water and has never been dry, even during the drought years which we are trying to forget around here... I do keep my boat in one slip however the other slip is available for yours as is additional docking space along each side. Vertical rub rails/bumpers (very important) are in place along each side of the dock and slip to protect your boat. The dock is fully lit for night time fishing. Parents relax as the private cove is well suited for swimming or fishing without worry of heavy boat traffic. There is none of the annoying constant up and down dock movement present in more populated areas of the lake. This is a very peaceful and clean section of the lake with hidden ski coves (just ask) and fish galore. Check out the fish condos under the dock (you fishermen know what I mean...). After a day on the lake relax to a game of pool, ping pong, checkers, or numerous other board games and puzzles. Enjoy a gourmet meal prepared in the inviting kitchen (all utensils and appliances needed are included along with charcoal and gas grills) or at one of the fine local restaurants only a few miles away in downtown Gainesville. Several North Ga wineries are within a 45 minute drive also. Just remember, relax, you're on vacation!

This house is absolutely fantastic for a getaway! We had 7 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space. Communication with the host was very easy and responses were quick! This house is located in a quiet neighborhood with a great 2 level dock on the lake. We would absolutely stay here again!

Large family, great stay! Enjoyed the dock, brought our boat and spent the whole time pulling the kids on tube and wakeboard! Communication was great. Fishing from the dock was fun, we tried all the bait and the worms caught right off the path to the dock worked the best. Overall great time, we will be back.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the lake house and it's location on the lake. The dock was really big and great for sun bathing. The cove the house was located in was nice and quiet and perfect for swimming.

Stayed with family(young Kids) and Older parents. House is in great shape and super clean. Boat dock in deep water and perfect for fishing and swimming. Would definitely stay again.

The house is very spacious and clean. Paul was great to work with. My family came down from NYC and we had 6 kids with us under the age of 8. The cove with the dock was perfect. We were able to swim every day and kayak with the kids and it was safe. The covered dock was great. Kids went fishing for the first time. First time they rode in a boat...etc...Gainesville marina is 10 minutes away to rent anything you may need. Hot tub was great. The room downstairs was perfect for all of the kids to sleep in together and they loved it. Thank you Paul for the hospitality and such a great lake experience. We will be back!!

My family and I rented the week of July 4th, and we were amazed at how nice, spacious, and clean the house was...the dock was great to swim off of, quiet cove, awesome hot tub, etc. The owner was really nice and this will definitely be a spot for a future vacation for our family.

We rented the house for several days around Labor Day. We would definitely go back. The house is very clean and well kept. It is nice to have a covered slip for your boat and a party dock. Paul is very easy to work with. The cove is quiet. The house is close to shopping. Great place for kids and family.

If I were green, and my name was Scrooge, I'd selfishly refrain from writing a review (to keep my new vacay get-away a secret). But alas, neither me nor my thumbs are green. (See suffering foliage). As a customer, I rely on HONEST reviews, so here we go... We took our family to this home for Thanksgiving. Even though it was chilly (California standards) we still had a marvelous time, in and outdoors. The views around Lake Lanier are breathtaking. This home is very roomy, well kept, clean, comfortable and cozy. It is set in a quiet, treesy locale, but ALSO near major stores, restaurants etc. This home has all the bells and whistles & is definitely NOT your typical bland rental. You will feel HOME away from home. The owner makes you feel very welcomed, and even provided us welcome basket (of goodies & treats). Warm touches abound. I had a couple other requests that he was so kind and thoughtful to arrange. These positive vibes set the tone for our entire vacay. BUT, I was a little selfish and took the master for me and my husband (although we were also celebrating my mom's bday). I couldn't resist the huge spa like master bath and extra closet space. There are a lot of trees between this home and the lake, but you still get nice views (and nice nature walks). There is an upper deck w/bbq and lake view as well as a lower patio for entertaining &/or relaxation. You'll love waking to scenic views. If you prefer modern amenities, love entertaining, enjoy cleanliness and QUIET, this place will work for you. Downstairs is all BONUS! It's a cave haven (good place to stash the men, kids, or the young at heart). It was actually a hit with everyone. We loved that it had a tv, pool table, game table, separate kitchen nook, bed and bath. This level led to the lake and the boat dock. There is a lit path for evening strolls. Since it was chilly November, we kept our strolls in the mornings/afternoons. (If you have little kids or wanderers, be aware that there is easy access to water.) I believe you can rent the owner's boat. Don't quote me. The private boat dock is a double decker with awesome lake views. Make sure to take some bird chow for the family of swans that will greet you. If you love to boat, fish, swim or just relax. This place is for you. Just please don't book during my chosen week(s). :) That is all. Have fun!

Great house with wonderful views of the lake. The dock was very nice with plenty of chairs and even a grill. Inside the house we enjoyed the pool table and all of the rooms were nice size. The hot tub was awesome!! Had a great time and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at the lake over the 4th of July. The house is great for multiple families and the cove is great for swimming. The double decker dock is a plus and we were able to dock our boat in a covered slip. Paul was easy to work with and a great host.

This place was fantastic. We hosted a barbecue family lunch in this amazing lakehouse. It was a very comfortable stay. The amenities were great. The basement was great for the youngsters. The deck was huge which was perfect for grilling on a nice day out, and the boat dock with the party dock worked perfect for our boats along with more than enough room for everybody. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next summer.

Home was very clean plenty of room to spread out. The dock was nice and had rub rails which are always appreciated. Kids enjoyed fishing and we wake boarded and surfed all day. I've been coming to Lake Lanier off and on for 20+ years and this was the best place we've stayed at yet. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone. Especially family's with kids!

We rented this lovely home with two other families to enjoy Memorial Day weekend. The way the house is setup with two guest rooms on one wing, master on the other, and a large bedroom downstairs, you can separate from the other families a bit. The home is extremely well equipped and very comfortable.we found it to be plenty of space for 6 adults and 5 kids. It features a fully stocked kitchen, as well as an extra fridge downstairs, new carpet, new linens and towels and plenty of extra beach towels, which we found to be very helpful. The dock is amazing. We brought our boat and were able to leave it in the slip so it was very handy for wake boarding. This section of the lake was pretty quiet even on a holiday weekend and was just perfect for us. It's also a great dock and cove for swimming and the kids had a blast. We cannot wait to return! Thanks Paul for making our trip so easy!
