This rental unit is on the ground floor of a two story home and features 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a full kitchen and living room. Guests will have their own private entry and the entire first level to themselves. There is a fenced backyard with mature trees that lends to that ideal Guyanese style living. Among the local birds one would see flying across this area and alighting on trees along the canal, or feeding in the waterways are, the gaulding, spurwing, toucan, crane, wild duck, wood pecker, kiskadee, pigeon, ground dove, house wren, coot, hawk and vulture. So you need to have your cameras always ready to capture some of the 784 species identified in the avifaunda of Guyana. Parallel to Cane View Avenue to the south side, runs a major canal. Across it lies the now defunct privately owned sugar cane plantation lands, a rich habitat for exotic birds, animals and flora. Public transportation is easily accessible a short distance from the front door of this property. There are also many taxi options.
