The Ivy Cottage is a magical & eclectic getaway for partners, two friends, or extended stay for remote work, writing, reading. Take a mental health break away from the hustle & bustle of your busy life. Take a weekend and spend it with your favorite family member, or your closest friend. Take a break from phones, grab your teenager, and spend some quality time together away from social media. Our cottage is walking distance from downtown Hermann restaurants/bars/ live music. Hermann has a vast selection of biking/walking trails, wine, coffee, food, and vintage shops. This is our family's home away from home, a vacation from the chaos that life can bring. We want to share what we love about it with YOU. Stay in and cook a delicious meal for your favorite person or binge your favorite movie/tv show. Get creative and artistic, while jamming out to some music in the living room...and do some dancin' while sipping on your favorite drink. Play one of our many board games, do a puzzle, color, and paint. Spend time journaling or writing that book about your life. Take time for you and yours, be free to be. It is our privilege to have you stay with us. ALL are welcome at our home. Highlights include: • Double-decker deck placing you directly in nature. My husband & I rented this for the weekend as a bday present for his sister, and we’re so happy we did! This fairytale cottage is beautiful. You can tell the owners love this place by all the small details and finishes throughout. It is furnished with anything you may need for an overnight stay, plus it’s a short walk to all the shops in Hermann. Can’t say enough about this place. Absolutely breathtaking! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I rented the cottage for a fall weekend and we had a wonderful time. The cottage is great and secluded while being close to Hermann's amenities. Hermann is a neat town with lots of history and a variety of things to do. The property manager was excellent to deal with and very thoughtful during our stay. We plan to come back in the future. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our weekend away at Ivy Cottage. It was quiet, private, well appointed and the owners were fantastic. It was only a couple of blocks from the main streets in hermann so we were able to wAlk to all the action but also enjoy the peace and quiet of the home. They had a list of great food and drink options which were also on point!!! Thank you for an amazing stay amd we loom forward to visiting again in the future!

This cottage in Hermann was just what we were looking for. The property was clean, well stocked and accurately represented. We had a relaxing time and the property owners were easy to work with. There was a lot going on in Hermann the weekend we stayed and we enjoyed the festivities. The cottage is quiet and the decks are great for evenings and morning alike. We will definately rebook when we visit Hermann again.

This cottage is absolutely charming. The photos and description truly do not do it justice. Everywhere we looked there was obvious attention to detail from the art on the walls to the well-stocked kitchen. You can see in the photo the is a patio beneath the deck. What you can't see is the steel sheet under the patio that keeps the deck dry and comfortable, even in heavy rain. It was heavenly relaxing in the evening while listening to the rain and wildlife all around us. This is just an example of the careful thought that has gone into the details of this cottage. The cottage truly is a short walk to downtown Hermann. We were able to walk to town every time the urge struck and never felt we needed to take the car whenever we felt like exploring. The comfort, sense of privacy, and convenience balanced into a fantastic experience. It was a pleasure working with our hosts. Alexandria was delight. I'm not exaggerating when I say we were planning our next visit before we had even unpacked our bag.
