About this cottage rental

Located in Mandeville, this lovely cottage for $465 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. About this space Blume Cottage, named after Mistress Widow Elizabeth Blume who in 1854 purchased this property . She is the first, female original owner of record. The Cottage has been lovingly restored to maintain the charm of the past and the modern convenience of today! This Creole Cottage, sits two blocks from Lake Ponchatrain in the Historic Mandeville district. Walking distance to the neighborhood's best restaurants, bakery, wine bar, cafe's, coffee shop , antique shops and art gallery . The space The Cottage is raised four and a half feet off of the ground. There is also a stairway to the second floor . The back yard is private and has a large patio. The Primary bedroom is on first level with a king bed and private ensuite. There is a small, full bath off the hall way of first level and a beverage /coffee center and laundry . The great room and kitchen is in the rear of the cottage. Other things to note If you would like to host an Event: (i.e. wedding group or any gathering over the permitted 6 guests) you MUST CLEAR THIS WITH US FIRST. Additional Fees will apply. If guests are found to have had an Event/ Gathering without host permission which results in additional cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and IN THE UNFORTUNATE EVENT OF THE DISRUPTION OF NEIGHBORS, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 9am.

We loved this property! We brought our young family to this home and it was perfect. Very clean, cozy and we had great communication with the host, Kelly! We will definitely be back if we stay in the area again.

Stayed with lady friends to attend 3 rivers festival in Covington. The house was exactly what we wanted… lovely interior, 3 bathrooms, clean, room to spread out, comfortable cozy beds, in the heart of Mandeville, quick drive to festival, we walked to dine, drink coffee, take in lake views, shop, etc. — perfect 👍! Would rent again in a heartbeat 💗

The home was perfect! Beautiful kitchen (perfect if you love to cook like myself) Rooms were very comfortable, clean and well stocked with towels. We could walk to the waterfront. My kids loved the backyard, plenty of room to play. Highly recommend this home!

Beautiful property nicely located near shops and restaurants. We have friends who moved here some years ago and love visiting Mandeville any chance we get. Lots of hidden gems and delicious food. Kelly was a great host and responded very quickly to any of our needs. Thank you Kelly!
