I had to scrub the tub myself and was told that it was black because the building was 30 years old. The hot tub jets really didn't work and it seemed to have mold around it. It just doesn't have that same cozy feeling that it used to.

Was a good place to stay! I was upset that hotels.com listed a room that was unavailable all together!! Was unhappy with that!!!! But the Super 8 was great staying there!!

The front desk clerk who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The bathroom floor had several hairs on the corners by the tub. It appeared the bedroom area was clean. The TV was fairly small as compared to other hotels we have stayed in. The pool and hot tub area was very outdated. There were sheets of plastic over all of the windows in the pool area. I assume that was done to keep the heat from escaping. It appeared, there was at one time, a steam room. It had been closed up along with a bathroom that was also in the pool area. The location was fine for our needs since it is within the city. The Continental breakfast was average at best. I don't believe this was a hotel stay worth $143.64

It was right on snowmobile trail close to eating places. Great free breakfast

From 2am to 4am guests were loud and arguing in the hallway. No extra blankets in the room. Very thin blankets on bed.

The staff is very hospitable and the hotel is conveniently located on snowmobile trails heading in all directions.

Hotel was easy to book. Check in was smooth and pleasant. Room was clean an everything worked. Check out was easy. Breakfast was as good as you could expect for that format. Will stay again.

Trip was a quick turnaround to visit a relative. The room was clean, location was excellent. Hot breakfast was better than some. Only complaint was our mattress.

It was good, bath tub has a drip so it was full of water when we got there. It was plugged. Everyone was nice and breakfast hit the spot.

I liked the breakfast - beds and room were clean and comfortable.
Pool and hot tub area definitely need updating. Rim around hot tub looked like it was developing mold. Pool and hot tub were very old, paint peeling and whole pool room was in bad need of repair and updating.

When I first arrived the front desk woman was on a personal call and then proceeded to answer the phone and help the person on the phone instead of the customer in front of her. The hotel is outdated and dirty and our room smelled of urine, not sure if it was human or pet urine, as they do except pets in the hotel. We did not complain as we were only staying for the one night and leaving at 5 o’clock in the morning. But definitely was not worth the price that we paid.

Would have liked to stay. Had an accident on the road to travel to facility. Was not able to stay. Was not able to get my money back either. what a total loss.

Location was great. Property was clean. The hotel was dated. Needs a upgrade. Carpet in hallway. Beds need to be replaced. etc.

This was our third or fourth stay here over a number of years. Overall, the staff is friendly and the hotel's condition is fine. Our bathroom coming in was not well cleaned and the short-staffed cleaning staff did the minimum during our stay. The breakfasts were fine per Super 8's usual standard - eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and waffles, fruit, yogurt, breads, juice, milk and coffee. The pool and hot tub worked well. The beds were comfortable, the A/C worked fine, and the water was very hot. We would stay there again. The location in Eagle River made it convenient for us. Gas, fast food, Eagle River Roasters are nearby.

We stayed at this hotel the weekend of 3/6 and there was a cigarette lying on the floor by the heater in our room. When we returned the weekend of 3/27,we were assigne the same room and that cigarette was still there on the floor, making me wonder how well they clean these rooms. Also, there were children running up and down the hall on Friday and Saturday night, and also early in the morning which did not contribute to this being a relaxing stay.

My husband and I had never stayed at a Super 8 hotel before, and did not know quite what to expect when we arrived. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room, especiallly the bathroom. Plenty of soft towels as well. It seems to be a newer hotel and were quite happy with our choice. Although we did not eat there, they did offer a complimentary continetal breakfast. We had a comfortable king size bed, refrigerator, and coffeemaker. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

clean, no attitude at the front desk, basic breakfast (waffles a bonus), no-smoking room does not smell like smoke, not bad compared to local competition.

We normally stay in higher branded chains on business trips but in a town of approx. 1400 people selection was limited. We were quite pleased with our accommodations at the Super 8 in Eagle River. We were able to conduct our meetings nearby and rest comfortably before our departure the next day.

The staff at this motel is awsome! Very friendly and helpful. We definately reccomend this Super 8.
