Super Hotel für eine kurze Reise nach Cartagena

Sehr schönes Hotel ganz knapp vor der Altstadt Cartagenas. Innerhalb von 2 Minuten Fußweg ist man mitten in der Altstadt. Wir hatten die Suite, der Aufpreis hat sich hier definitiv gelohnt. Personal war sehr freundlich, Zimmer 1-A, Klimaanlage hat sehr gut funktioniert. Wir würden hier noch mal übernachten.

Unser Zimmer hat leider etwas länger gebraucht, um fertig zu werden (war aber anscheinend verschuldet von den vorherigen Gästen). Obwohl man nicht mitten im Trubel ist, ist es nachts trotzdem noch relativ laut. Das Frühstück ist eher Durchschnitt.

Nada - este hostal es una trampa para turistas

Cuidado : estafa total para turistas - este hostal es carísimo y no vale este precio. Te cobran el agua ! Viejo, alberca minúscula (nada que ver con la foto) toallas viejas que huelen el vinagre - desayuno muy mal en una sala que parece una bodega - A EVITAR !

Great location beautiful room and excellent staff

This hotel is set in a wonderful location in Getsemani. It is close to all the wonderful restaurants and the famed salsa bar Cafe Havana The hotel is in an old brick colonial building that has been wonderfully restored. Check in was a breeze and they surprised me with an upgraded room. The Master Suite is an absolutely stunning room with high beamed ceilings and tastefully decorated with period pieces. This room also had a full size dining room with table and buffet. A modern and exquisite bathroom long, Main room with sofa and two chairs that had 3 beautiful wooden double doors set into the colonial brick that led to an outdoor balcony with a view of the street below.

nice but expensive for what it is

location was perfect, beautiful rooftop terrasse, the italian restaurant next door is a must if you like quality and authentic pastas

overall a bit deceiving, photos looked nicer than the place actually was, especially the tiny pool that didn't seem to have a cleaning filter? lol. not worth the price we paid per night.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but wish the rooms and bathrooms were more modern.

The Casa Tere hotel is located centrally in the artistic Getsemani neighborhood, just outside Centenario park and walking distance to the walled city. The hotel lobby area and mini courtyard is pretty. The street outside the hotel was vibrant and colorful. Banks, restaurants, and stores were within a 5-10 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made our stay a positive experience. They helped us with recommendations, laundry, and getting taxis. The free coffee and breakfast was nice and set us up for a nice start each day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but wish the rooms and bathrooms were more modern.

The rooms were smaller than expected and not luxurious. However, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The bathrooms were clean but had old plumbing, so we could not flush toilet paper, which made it a little inconvenient.

Loved Hotel Casa Tere and plan on staying there again.

The location was exactly what we were looking for, in Getsemani, just outside of the old city. We were travelling with an 18 month old and the crib was set up waiting for us on arrival. They delivered a small refrigerator to our room without us asking. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and were wonderful with our granddaughter. They arranged laundry service and taxi rides for the beach. The pictures on Booking.com were very accurate. The rooftop pool area was very comfortable with great views of the City and a great place to watch the sunset.

Breakfast got a little repetitive but we were also there for 22 days.

great location. my room was one of the larger types so very much enjoyed that. it was huge. the staff was very friendly and helpful. quiet and clean hotel. great rooftop with small pool and plenty of chairs to hang out in. great view from roof. not much of a view from room.

the towels and linens were not the most luxurious. no blanket or secondary covering just a sheet which was strange. I've never stayed in a hotel where literally its just a thin sheet to pull over you when in bed.

nice stay in the hard of Getsemani

location and friendly staff

some noise in the room during the night. it was facing a busy street with lots of nightlife. it was understandable being in an historical building.

Disappointing stay for the money paid

The roof pool. The room size.

The hotel and room quality and location was not worth the price paid. When checking in, I asked for a room in a quiet location with the features paid for, which I asked for when reserving, and I was ignored. The receptionist stated 'this is the room you reserved and paid for'. Not very gracious, not accommodating. It felt like clients are cattle and have to do what they are told. Not too welcoming if you ask me.

We were unlucky and stayed during torrential rain. Unfortunately even though we had a superior room, it is not equipped to be comfortable and to spend more time than sleeping.

Unique style hotel in a great location

Great location, unique decoration and styling with lots of art and quirky objects, modern and wide beds, nice sheets. OK breakfast with fresh fruits and eggs whichever way you like them.

if you are looking for a clean and quiet place downtown this is the place to go.

The location was perfect and quiet.

No wifi available at the time we were there.

We got there and it smelled moldy. There was also no Wi-Fi and no estimate on when it would be back up. The pool was not working and the jacuzzi was cold. Overall cleanliness was just not great.

Very good hotel in a great location

This hotel is centrally located and is well run. The room had a balcony which was lovely and there is a small pool and jacuzzi area on the roof. I will be returning again later this year so yes i recommend the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly particularly with the luggage which was appreciated .
