First time renters in Florida for a month. I want to begin by saying that we found the residents of Fairways of Capri very friendly and welcoming. We loved the camaraderie of the neighborhood. We rented thru VRBO and Gulf Coast Realty. We were disappointed to learn that similar units were renting for considerably less money. This unit needs some updating, decluttering and cleaning. The small television in the living area did not get the major networks. We mentioned this to the owner who must have contacted Gulf Coast Realty. Carlos, from Gulf Coast Realty, left a message on our HOME phone regarding this problem. Didn't get the message until we got home. Guessing this problem has not been addressed. Our suggestion would be to re-evaluate the "in season rates". By the time all of the additional fees are added to the rental fee we feel the cost was unreasonable.

This property is poorly managed by Gulf Coast Properties. Upon arrival, the toilet was clogged and unusable. Fortunately, there is a second bathroom, because after numerous phone calls to Gulf Coast, someone finally came to unclog the toilet...8 days later! The front porch light was out, the refrigerator filter needed to be replaced, and you can't open the rear door in the enclosed porch. There is no remote for the garage door...you can only open it from inside. VERY inconvenient. The TV in the living area is a 28 inch TV!. AND the one in the bedroom is a 15 inch TV!! The condo was cleaned but just OK. It needs a deep clean...especially in the enclosed porch. Many calls to Gulf Coast Property Management about these issues were ignored...phone messages were never returned. I would not recommend renting this property...and I would not recommend using Gulf Coast Property Management either. Search elsewhere....there are plenty.

Glass tables everywhere. Afraid to move about for fear of breaking something, not really comfortable. Need of deep cleaning and deodorizing closets.
