Experience city's finest restaurants include BearBrass on Southgate Ave, The Atlantic on Crown Towers, or a floating bar & restaurant called the Ponyfish Island. There are tons of things to do in the city itself which are mostly a quick stroll away. Getting Around: Needless to say, surrounded by trams, cabs, buses, getting around is not going to be a problem at all. We're only a 4 min walk to Power Street - Tram Stop 112A at the corner of Queensbridge & Power St. Myki is the card you will need for all public transport. When using a Myki card, please remember to always have sufficient value for your journey as hefty on the spot fines apply if you travel without correct fare or do not "tap on." Trips are about $3.80 for a 2-hour journey, but it all depends on what zones you travel in, if you are a concession card holder and if you buy a day pass. Myki cards can be topped up at any 7-11 Stores (7-Eleven Eureka Tower) or at many other shops that display the MYKI logo. MYKI machines are located at major tram stops, train stations and at convenience stores and news agents. Please be aware that cards can't be topped up on trams or trains any longer. Flinders St station is only a 10min walk away from us via Sandridge bridge. 10min walk to Europcar South Melbourne. (56-58 Clarendon St, Southbank VIC 3006, Australia) if you need to rent a car. If you drive, we have secured 1 FREE parking for you. Other Things to Note: This is a private home ALL TO YOURSELF and you WON'T be sharing this with any strangers during your stay. A representative will provide you with the SELF CHECK-IN details. This pad accommodates 4 adults generously but a max of 6 overnight. Any more than 4 adult guests overnight will attract an extra AU$14 per night, per additional guest. The sleeping arrangement for the 5th and 6th adult would be on a 3-seater sofa bed which folds out to a queen with extra quilts, pillows, sheets & covers. The 3-seater sofa bed measurements: - Width: 220cm - Depth: 100cm - Height: 80cm - Seat depth: 70cm - Seat height: 45cm - Bed width: 150cm - Bed length: 200cm Please do let us know before hand if you would like us to pre-make the sofa-bed prior to your arrival. Interaction with Guests: I only interact with guests via AirBnb, What'sApp, Email, SMS or Mobile when necessary. Rest assured, my response time is pretty much instant. I will not be present at this property during your stay. A representative will provide you with the SELF CHECK-IN details. The apartment unit will be vacant (Furnished of course along with the amenities) and it's a private self-contained fully serviced unit ALL TO YOURSELF. You WON'T be sharing it with any strangers during your stay. Please refer to my calendar for availability. If your preferred dates are available, please feel free to book 'em. Stayed with family for 5 days. Convenient location and free parking appreciated. Kitchen has most things needed. Aircon unfortunately is not ducted so both bedrooms were uncomfortable on warm nights.
