The yard looked totally neglected
and the house was good only superficially. AC promised but not operating. Help number goes to someone in Oregon who has no way of helping. For 18 hours they promised to help but can’t. I abandoned my reservation and left to return home. There is no indoor dining and yard situation disgusting. Wouldn’t recommend.

close to Hyannis for shopping/dining, quiet, nice neighborhood. updated, cute/cozy feeling at first glance. Upon arrival, it appeared pretty clean, it does have the essentials needed for your stay. It could be cleaner. As we settled in, I noticed It didn’t look like the floors had been cleaned, there was A LOT of dust everywhere, spider/cobwebs around all the windows/upper walls as well as house spiders- upwards of 7-10 when we arrived. We had to spend time dewebbing inside the home and cleaning the floors as we had a baby in the home. More spiders were showing up that we had to deal with, it was not comforting. A few other more minor issues. The bigger issue now. We had to turn on heat as it got cold the weekend we were here, especially with a baby in the home. It became evident that there was a problem with the furnace as the heat wasn’t coming on. Also made aware the owners know about this and continue to rent it. We contacted VACASA about the heat/spiders. They initially sent someone who was able to get the heat going. unfortunately,later that evening the heat stopped working again. At this point it was cold in the home, and after calling vacasa another time, was promised I’d receive a phone call within an hour that never came. I once again called and was told “I am so sorry, this is unacceptable, I will look into this and have someone call/come out” to which I waited until late at night and still received no call. The next morning still no call, after calling multiple times again speaking with different agents throughout the day, who continued to assure us someone would call and come, as well as contacting VRBO to get involved. We finally decided we could no longer stay here. Many hours of trip were spent making calls, waiting for someone to come, while the baby was cold and couldn’t sleep. The whole situation was awful/made for an uncomfortable/stressful trip. VACASA each time would apologize, no solution came. In the end, we were offered a refund/relocate, asked for refund, as it didn't make sense to relocate our last night, especially with a baby. 2 weeks later only received partial refund. Called multiple times again with no follow through. VRBO also unsupportive stating we would have had to call them within 24hrs of trip, after initially stating we could f/up about VRBO fee refund later as we called during our stay. I truly hope no one else has to go through what we did. Terrible way to treat renters/customer concerns and ruin a trip.

This house is beautiful and well appointed, with pretty much every you need for a vacation. We had no issues the entire week. The house was extremely clean when we arrived, the beds were comfortable and we appreciated the air conditioners in the bedrooms. It wasn't hot outside during our stay but I sleep better with the white noise. There were extra blankets and pillows, dish soap, a dishwasher (I love not washing dishes on vacation!) and a few extra toiletries in the bathroom in case you forgot shampoo or something. The private back yard was really nice, we ate quite a few meals outside on the deck, just enjoying the peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The location was convenient to explore the middle of the Cape and there are grocery stores, gas stations and anything else you might need within a short drive. We would happily rent this house again whenever visiting Cape Cod!

We had an enjoyable stay. Cleanliness was superb. The house was well equipped with beach necessities and with kitchen tools. Very happy with the short trip to Seagull Beach.
We wish the indoor seating had been better. We were just 3 and could not sit at table together. If we had been 5 or 6 there would definitely not have been sufficient comfortable living area seating.
We might suggest some repair to the fence at the bottom. Our dogs are small and nearly escaped into an adjoining yard when chasing a local bunny.
Also be aware that your dogs can only visit the National beaches during the summer season.
We would also suggest some type of non slip surface in the tub.

Arrived to a pristine house. Fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Just a 5 minute drive to beautiful Seagull Beach. Had a problem with the electrical and management was prompt to help get it fixed in short order. Overall great place to stay in a great location.

The pictures on the website accurately portrayed the property. Great location in a quiet neighborhood with fenced in yard. Updated clean home. We did have some issues with the keyless entry. Difficult to use so we ended up using the key from the lockbox which was fine. I would also recommend sealing in the window air conditioners a bit better. They didn’t fully cover the width of the window so bugs were coming inside. Other than that, it was a nice home and I would definitely come back.

We really loved the house, the large back yard and convenient location, however there were some things that we feel should have been addressed before we arrived. Two of which we texted Turnkey about:
1) The towel rack in the bathroom was insecure and falling off the wall so we took it down.
2) One of the curtains in the bedroom with the twin beds was falling off because the curtain rod is broken. I propped it up.
Two other things include:
1) You may/may not have a roof leak in the same bedroom with the twin beds. Over by the same window with the curtain issue the ceiling is peeling.
2) The grill was very dirty and it was apparent that the charcoal ashes had not been cleaned in quite some time. We cleaned it out and washed the grills before using and emptied the charcoal ashes before leaving. It really should be completely cleaned before your next rental.

The property is exactly as described and easy to locate. It is a few minutes from the beach, stores and many restaurants. This was a very clean, comfortable and pet friendly property. (It didn't smell like a pet friendly home. Most of the time, pet friendly properties have a smell.) We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone traveling to the Cape. There were a few things that need attention, but nothing that would prevent us from staying again. The landscaping could use some attention, the towel bar was hanging off the wall, and the curtain in the kids room was hanging upside down causing the rod to fall. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed the outside area.

My husband and I rent vacation homes several times a year and typically give rave reviews following our stay. This rental needs improvement in order to compete in year 2 with other properties with similar rates. The Bad: First, upon arrival during a heat wave (90) the air conditioners were all turned off. The house was sweltering and we had to unload all of our belongings while our 6 month old sat in the hot house waiting for it to cool down. I had reached out prior to our stay to confirm the home provided towels and linens. They communicated that the home has "hotel quality towels and linens". If hotel quality is IKEA, then sure I suppose they were provided. The listing also notes that beach chairs and a bicycle are provided. The beach chairs were at least 10 years old and there was no bike. The towel rack in the bathroom kept falling out of the wall. All of the curtain rods were bent and not of good quality. The backyard was completely unkept with tall grass half of the week. The hanging lights on the deck had bulbs out. The couch slipcover was ripped and had stains on it. The chairs at the island also had stains on them. This isn't even all of it and I took pictures in hopes I could post them since apparently this property keeps getting "5 stars". The Good: the house is in fact updated and was well stocked for our needs. It has a nice location close to Sea Gull beach and is walkable to some restaurants (on route 28 which please note is very busy). To top it off, my husband forgot his electric shaver in the drawer of the rental and Turnkey refuses to confirm if their team found our belongings unless I provide a credit card for shipping (why would I do so, unless they in fact confirm they have our belongings). I understand this is a turnkey issue and not a property issue, but overall our experience was not positive.
