The area is well known as a tourist hot-spot with many bars showing British football, party places and restaurants. The town is also home to many water-sport activities, including banana boat, speed boat and jetski rides, as well as kayaking, snorkelling and diving. For history enthusiasts, the imposing Bugibba Battery is a 15-minute walk away and offers a glimpse into Malta\'s military past.
