The city's best restaurants, tapas bars & boutique shops are all nearby. Sleeps 2-5 persons, king & queen bed + queen sofa bed. Bikes are not permitted in the units, balconies, or elevators. If you are traveling with a bike, please let your host know and they can provide you with a couple of options. Most of the truly noteworthy restaurants (like Il Terrazzo, Cafe Mexico, Famoso & Virtuous Pie ) and coffee shops (like Hey Happy, Habit & Bean Around the World) are at your doorstep. If it's a bevy you're after check out the Drake, Whistle Buoy & Swans. All just a few short steps away. When you feel the need to walk off the extra calories, government street shops, Canada's oldest Chinatown, and the Songhees walking path are all seconds away. You really couldn't ask for a better location. It is why we choose to spend our time working, living, and loving this neighborhood. Our condo is set up with you, the guest, in mind. We hope that you feel thought of and cared for at every level of your stay. The cupboard above the fridge will be locked, but you will have access to all other cupboards and drawers. We get it, sometimes you just want to enjoy a meal at home. Our kitchen has all the modern conveniences you will find at home. From quality dishes, cookware, and cooking utensils to Nespresso Coffee. The living room has plenty of natural sunlight during the day, with room and privacy shades to draw in the evening. If it's a night in your after, sign into your favourite program on Netflix, Prime or Crave from our Smart TV. The master bedroom has a cozy King bed, lovely corner windows, and a designated workspace with an external monitor. The second bedroom has a queen bed, closet, and desk also. If you're in need of an extra sleeping space we have a queen air mattress to layout on the living room floor. A playpen is available for the littles. The bathroom is spacious and comes stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair blower, and fluffy towels. Ensuite laundry (big plus) A private balcony off the living room complete with an outdoor table, chairs & small bbq is great for people watching any time of the day On the main floor, guests have access to the lounge and gym. For those attractions that aren't so close: - Victoria Harbour Water Taxis: Hop on and off at numerous points around the city's historic harbour. Be sure to check out the pickle boat ballet in the summer months. - Parking: We have 1 designated parking stall included with this booking. It is located in the private parking garage at the back of the building. A FOB is required for access. - Transit: The public bus system will take you from the BC Ferries Schwartz Bay terminal to within 5 minutes walking distance of our place. Get bus #70 from the ferry terminal and get off at the 'Douglas and Cormorant' stop. Walk 5 minutes west down Pandora Ave to the 595 Pandora building. - Victoria Airport: No bus services here, so best to get to and from via taxi or shuttle bus. - Cycling - The 595 Pandora building is right near the Galloping Goose bicycle trail. At 60 km (36 miles) long, it connects downtown Victoria to Sooke. The trail is incredibly scenic, with access to many beautiful sites like Matheson Lake Park, East Sooke Park, Spirit Bay Park, Sooke Potholes Park, etc. Bicycles can be rented at numerous locations nearby, such as MEC, North 48, Ride the Glide (for electric bicycles), etc.
