About this house rental

Located in Goughs Bay, this attractive house for $303 per night is a great option for your next trip. My place is on Lake Eildon with gorgeous views of the lake. There are kangaroos and beautiful birds that come out to say Hi, plus other Australian wildlife. Only 12 minutes from Mansfield in the Victorian High Country, close to Mt Buller, where you can enjoy wineries, horse-riding, skiing & fishing. You’ll love my place because of the light, the kitchen, the cosiness, the convenience, the fireplaces & the BBQ deck. My place is great for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). The Goughs Bay Lake House is unique because of its stunning views of Lake Eildon, it's proximity to the general store (just 2 doors down!), and those with boats love that there are 5+ boat ramps to choose in Goughs Bay. It's a lovely 3 bedroom 2 bathroom holiday style haven, designed for holiday makers who enjoy relaxing at the house, but also have a spirit of adventure. It's quiet, modern, has everything you could possibly need from shampoo, to towels and linen, to board games, books to read and firewood for those cosy nights. The kitchen has all the pots, pans, baking dishes, serving dishes and a few small appliances to keep you going. We offer a sachet style coffee selection plus there is a French press and ground coffee in the fridge, Twinings teas and various sweeteners. The Internet and Smart TV allows you to connect to your streaming services or work remotely from this stay (there is a dedicated work station in the 2nd bedroom). With two queen size beds with a twin bedroom in between, it's ideal for couples giving them a sense of separation, or a young family to stay. There is an ensuite to the main bedroom, and a 2nd bathroom with laundry facilities. There's a 12kg washing machine, and you can either use the clothesline for drying clothes or go down to the Caravan Park to use their public-use dryers. The backyard is fully fenced, however as we are in the country, wombats, echidnas and other wildlife can create holes under the fence and create places for your fur friend to escape. If your dog is small, please check the perimeter before you let them free. There is a rope near the back door to tie your dog up if that suits. We have covered up holes under the deck where wombats have dug with old furniture, as filling the holes gives them another reason to dig. (We'd appreciate if you please clean up after dog before you leave.) Guests can use the entire home except the garden shed and under the house. For a small fee, a single and a double kayak are available. Please contact me to arrange.
