Madigan Wine Country Cottages features four unique cottages located in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Each cottage is equipped with a fully functional kitchen, complimentary WiFi, streaming-enabled TVs, air-conditioning, BBQ facilities, and scenic views of the property. On-site car parking is provided free of charge. There are four cottages on the property, they can be booked as one venue or as separate cottages: The Homestead The Kookaburra Settlers Cottage The Bard Madigan is a self-check-in property with a check-in time after 3pm. After booking, details of the check-in process will be sent to you. We always strive to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests, so please inform us if you plan to arrive earlier than the set check-in time. There is plenty of open land for walking, biking, or simply relaxing on the verandah (or at the cellar door located on our property) to enjoy the tranquility and beautiful sunsets. On your departure, we appreciate if you can •Leave your accommodation in a tidy state. •Quick wipe of the kitchen surfaces to keep insects away. •It’s ok to start a dishwasher cycle and leave, if your cottage has a dishwasher, but please wash and put away any utensils not in the dishwasher. •Turn off lights, heaters and air conditioners. •Ensure that all outside doors and windows are closed and locked before you leave •Leave your stay key inside and just close and lock the door behind you on exit. Guest numbers Your accommodation has been booked for an agreed number of people and beds. We trust that you will let us know if there are any additional guests, so we can adjust the fee. If there are more beds in your cottage than you have booked, we kindly ask that you leave the extra beds untouched. Washing and cleaning are our biggest expenses, so we appreciate your consideration. Linen Bed sheets, pillow cases, doonas, and bath towels/face washers for the specified number of guests will be provided in your cabin before your arrival. Unless specifically arranged for longer stays, sheets and towels will not be replaced during your visit. On departure, please leave the beds neatly made and the towels/face washers stacked in the bathroom. Noise Music should be kept at a reasonable volume at all times. A good guideline is to stop any music or excessive noise from your cottage by 10pm. Please be considerate of others 24 hours a day.
