A cozy cottage located on Loon Lake in Haliburton, Ontario! This cottage is perfect for a family vacation or couples getaway. Enjoy a morning coffee surrounded by chipmunks and blue jays on the spacious deck or watch the sunset from the dock overlooking the water. (New, more spacious dock coming in May) The cottage is just a few steps from the driveway and you enter off a very spacious deck into an open concept kitchen with newer stainless steel appliances and all new dishware. Through the kitchen is a sitting and living area; perfect for spending time with family and friends playing games, watching TV or napping after a full day of sun! There is plenty of seating available with a large, new smart TV and an amazing view of the lake through the bay window. The two bedrooms and bathroom are off the kitchen and while the bedrooms are modest in size they offer plenty of room for a bed, dresser and an area to hang clothing. There is a 3 piece bathroom with new shower...it is on the smaller size but does the job and with all the time spent in the water...who's showering on vacation anyway lol! The third "bedroom" is the bunkie ...a few feet away from the main cottage and equipped with a new smart TV (no cable) and 1 Full and 1 Twin bed. Bed linens are provided just bring you own towels and you are all set. Water is filtered and checked to ensure it is drinkable. A new and more spacious dock in coming in May and will be decked out with 4 new Muskoka chairs....vacation mode activated! We are located 14 mins from town where you can find shopping, gas and great restaurants....and of course...a Tim Horton's!! Get ready to start making memories to last a lifetime!! There is a kayak and two brand new paddle boards along with a lily pad and various sizes of life jackets for your use! Boat is not included in the rental. We also have a solo stove so you can enjoy smores in the evenings, we just ask that you adhere to all fire bans/rules during your stay!
