If you are looking for 1,000 count sheets and fine china, Brookledge is not it. If you are looking for stars in the sky, trees and a comfy bed, that is us! Here are some things to expect Brookledge was once a Girls Camp called Girls Inc. We still have many buildings, pavilions, bath houses and trails from the original camp. When you step outside, you will most likely see chipmunks scurrying from tree to tree. They were here first, but they pay rent in acorns. You may get a sudden urge to walk on the trails. It happens, I don’t know why!?!? Why would you ever want to come here? That is an easy question to answer. You can look up at night and see millions of stars and fireflies in the field. When you take that walk, you will see deer tracks and hear the sound of the creek. The pond lovingly called the Ice Bucket will beckon you to skip rocks or possibly be brave enough to jump in. You will have access to swimming, fishing or an epic game of cornhole. Loser does the dishes! The floating dock holds on tightly to a green canoe. Time with family and friends around a campfire with S’mores of course! Visit our library and enjoy a book in our hammocks. If you are the type of person that loves flannel shirts, thinks that music with a guitar solo is a must and can’t walk past a dog without petting it then Brookledge is your place. We hope that you will not be a renter, but our guest. Pull up an Adirondack chair, grab a root beer and join us.
