1820 Farmhouse with original Warren Kimble mural.

About this farm stay rental

Built in 1820 in the Federalist style, our farmhouse sits on one acre of partially wooded land and directly across the street from the Neshobe Golf Course. The town of Brandon is just one mile on foot along historic Park Street. The house has three bedrooms, two and a half baths (one of which includes a claw foot tub), an up-to-date kitchen, a dining area with wood stove, a library, sitting room, and media room. Tastefully furnished and well-appointed, the house’s greatest claim is an original mural hand painted by Brandon’s long-term artist-in-residence, Warren Kimble. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and ensuite half bath. It connects to what we call “the sleeping loft” with king-sized bed that looks out on the gardens and woods and includes a large skylight. Finally, the third bedroom – nicknamed “the blue room” and has a queen-sized bed. Guests should be forewarned that the sleeping loft can be accessed by two separate sets of stairs, the second is steep and narrow.
