Beautiful apartments with a swimming pool right in front of our door. Very friendly hosts that picked us up from the airport. You can open the windows to let the wind blow through the apartment. Air conditioning is available but not needed.

During our stay sewage pipes were being installed under the public road next to the apartment. This caused a lot of noise disturbance. Nothing the hosts could do anything about.

I like the place as a whole its tidy and clean. And enough space for 1 or 2 people

Nothing everything was great

High ceilings, good sense of space, light and airy. Well maintained grounds with wonderful plant life. Good kitchen with 4 burner gas range. Loved that Mario and Vera have put good quality nature and dive books, picnic coolers, ice packs and even a water proof case for keys and money in the apt. Mario lives next door was was ALWAYS helpful when asked.

Only minor suggestion - a cutting board for food prep. Also the speaker on the TV was hard to understand.

The house itself is beautiful, spotless clean, and very well mantained. The equipment level is more than adequate for a holiday home, mattress and pillows are definitely comfortable, every detail is carefully handled by the owners. Same for the outdoor pool area: perfectly clean and appointed, with a lush tropical garden and plenty of room to relax. The location is OK as well: in a fine neighborhood, close to the city centre and the airport, although perfectly quiet. The owners were super kind and friendly, helpful with information and they run their business with passion and dedication.

We found a single but significant downside. Probably due to its position, the place lacks completely of ventilation. In addition, the windows can be opened only slightly. As a result, the interior is hot. Not just tropical-hot, sauna-hot. Due to the high cost of electricity in Bonaire (which is true) the owners require that air conditioning is operated only at night for sleeping, otherwise they charge some 15$ per day. Is OK to have the choice, but we would have preferred that the surcharge was mentioned in advance in the booking conditions. More than that, the only aircon unit of the house is in the bedroom, and blows cold air directly toward the bed, making it almost impossible to use while sleeping. In the end, the house was so hot that staying inside, no matter day or night, was really difficult. And since is a beautiful house, that's a pity and is the only reason for our low rate. Important note: we visited in November, which is humid season in Bonaire. Other guests, in different times of the year, may have a completely different experience.
