Only 400m from beach #2 and 600m to the Venus Bay shopping strip Sand Dunes is a secluded and sophisticated 3 bedroom, mid-century beach house. Sand Dunes and Salty Air is the perfect beach house for relaxing and getting away from city madness. Complete with a beautiful wood fire heater and 2x split ac/heat the house works for families or couples that love the beach, nature and getting away from it all. With big decks on the front and back the house offers sea breezes and sunny spots for super comfortable inside-outside living. Sand Dunes and Salty Air is a sophisticated mid century beach house. The beach is really close, just 400m away at the end of the street. The Venus Bay shops are also very close just 600m away. The house has three bedrooms: Bed 1 -queen Bed 2- queen Bed 3 - 4 x singles PLEASE NOTE: We provide bed linen and towels. No need to pack these items to enjoy your stay. We have loved filling the house with a mix of mid-century and contemporary furniture making sure the experience of staying is relaxed and comfortable. Staying at Sand Dunes is an opportunity to wind down with lazy mornings on the back deck. From here you can plan your day around the beach, river or inlet. If you are interested in getting out to see what’s in the local area there is a guide book to help you choose from all the fantastic experiences that surround Venus Bay. We have provided lots of items to ensure you enjoy your time here. The kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you need, including sharp knives and stainless-steel pots. We all very much enjoyed staying at this property in Venus Bay. The location was great, close to beach no. 2. The house was private and we loved spending time in the backyard relaxing.

We had a great time at Sand Dunes and Salty Air. Georgie was so friendly and check in was easy. This place has everything that you need for your holiday also very close to the beach and the local town. And if you have a furry friend, I strongly recommend this place.

A beautiful cottage style home on a good size block with plenty of privacy. The soft sounds of the ocean in the background and the crackling of the wood burning in the fireplace. Our dog had plenty of room to run and explore the secured grounds. A renovated kitchen and bathroom made it a bit flash!! Beds were very comfortable. Love love loved it!!

My family had a wonderful and comfortable stay. Our wolf- hound x had a fabulous week too. Really loved the garden and outdoor shower. Heaven after a cold swim. Great walks and beaches close to the property but watch out for the puffer fish!

Really great little beach house in Venus Bay, with everything we needed for a family beach holiday. The extra touches made our stay extra special - the bottle of Prosecco, chocolate and treats on arrival, great house supplies, and the house was very clean and well setup. Perfect setting for a decompress and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city - great access to beaches, walks and close enough, even via a drive, to plenty of places to eat and drink. House was super cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed. Being able to take our dog was a real bonus. .

My friend and I had an absolutely beautiful time. The house was exceptionally clean, bright and cozy with a short walk (up hill) to the beach. The grounds are perfect for the dogs. We loved watching a movie on Netflix 👍🥰. The crockery and kitchen utensils were perfect, Vedic g very comfortable and we had a lovely gift left for us on the table. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely go back. So nice and quiet and all the comforts of home.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The accomodation had all the things we hoped for - closeness to the ocean; beautiful fireplace; lovely open areas on the property; kitchen with great amenities. We had the most relaxing, cosy stay, it was so quiet we could hear the waves. Everything you can think of was provided, ample linen, bedding, towels, games, utensils, wood, wifi everything! Thank you so much for the welcome gifts, we had a fire inside both nights that was so warm cosy and inviting We enjoyed walking around the streets, collecting pine cones, bird spotting, we found rabbits kangaroos and a wombat! We enjoyed the fire pit and fresh air, the best were comfy Honestly can’t wait to get back thank you for an amazing stay can’t fault it at all! The little general store always great, we did fishing and down to the back beach Drove into inverloch and visited the shell museum

After many months stuck/locked-down in an inner city apartment, it was such a joy to stay at this lovely beach house. It is light filled, clean, cozy, comfortable, beautifully furnished and presented. The photos portrayed the property accurately, and we found some charming surprises like the really cool outdoor shower and a thoughtful welcome pack. We spent many hours reading and enjoying cocktails on the deck at the back. The kitchen is well stocked but the oven is a little old - at one stage I was not confident about roasting some veggies in it but they turned out OK in the end. There is a great gas BBQ outside as well. I had initially booked this beach house for July but Melbourne entered the 2nd lock-down just a week before we were due to visit Venus Bay. We were so disappointed! But Georgina was so understanding and supportive; she re-scheduled our booking (2 or 3 times!) and we were finally able to visit in December. It was such a pleasure dealing with Georgina. Thanks for everything Georgina! I highly recommend this beautiful beach house.

This is a stylish, cosy and comfortable house, close to the beach, and very clean. The large deck was private and a lovely space for a long relaxed brunch. The house is light and bright, the beds are extremely comfortable and we appreciated the little extras that were waiting for us on our arrival. Georgie was friendly and easy to communicate with. Everything we needed was supplied.We had a fantastic week in Venus Bay. Would love to come back here again. Thank you for sharing this special retreat with us!

My family loved our time here. The house has been recently updated and provides all the comforts you need for a beach holiday. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and village and our kids also loved using the cul de sac next to the house for ball games. Our only recommendation is that an outdoor umbrella or awning would be useful for sunny days.
