I enjoyed the architecture and style of this beautiful old building which had most, if not all of the original features, the stained glass window in the breakfast room was amazing. It was spotlessly clean and my room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The two ladies at reception could not have been more helpful. They were welcoming, kind and considerate. Great location, walking distance to everything, beach just across the road.
Nothing comes to mind

a friendly welcome, helpful staff, comfortable, quiet room. The hotel is beautifully kept in its original 1920's style. In a good location across the road from the beach and restaurants.

We were there for the first weekend of Carnevale and this the BEST location for viewing the parade, floats and fireworks. We loved the terrace, the Arte Nouveau lobby and breakfast room. It was February and our room was toasty warm. Staff very friendly.
Tiny elevator and shower. Not big problems.

Decor & architecture. Location. Friendly staff & other guests. Luxurious breakfast. Comfy room.
WiFi dipped sometimes: scraping the barrel for a criticism here.

Villa Tina is a very beautiful small hotel....! Stunning original 1920s features.
My bedroom was spotless...bed very comfortable. I slept really well.
And the mini fridge was so handy for bottled waster ..and wine..!
Staff were friendly , helpful and professional.
I will definitely stay again. Loved it.

Beautifull hotel and great friendly staff.
Bit loud, because it is next to a promenade.

Right by the beach, but kind of a trek to walk there from the train station. No breakfast but they provided some vouchers for nearby restaurants. The concierge was nice and helpful ordering us a cab back to the train station. Overall, it was great to schedule a beach day there in between our time at Florence en route to Cinque Terre.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, with early 20th century design, furniture, and decor recalling the wealthy family who built the Villa as their posh summer mansion. The breakfast room is lovely, with Florentine stained glass windows, glass chandeliers, and a view onto the promenade and seaside. You feel like you have slipped into the time between World Wars.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also very pleasant with many delicious foods to chose from. The location is wonderful for experiencing Viareggio, accessing the beach and promenade.
The only drawback is that the promenade is very lively (and noisy) on weekend nights. Parking can also be difficult as a result on weekend evenings but was otherwise easy. The a/c in my particular room (a small room that was an off-shoot of a double bedroom) was not ample, but it seems to be fine in other bedrooms. I was there during a heatwave, and it would probably be completely fine if temperatures were <80 degrees F at night.

The original Art Deco fit and finish of the ground and first floor is incredible. It really feels you are jumping into the past.
Location is perfect.
Some things need an overhaul. The A/C unit in the suite is like 40 years old and very noisy. Same goes for the bathtub, which needs new enamel. Such a shame, because the suite is majestic.

The most perfect location, the whole place looks exactly like it does in the photos, the lovely ladies at the reception and the night receptionist are wonderful, really helpful and kind. The place offers renting a bike, which is the perfect way of exploring the area. The breakfast was nice and had many variety to choose from. For this price you won't find a better place to stay.

Beautiful art nouveau building with original furniture, the 1st floor hall & brealfast rooms are stunning. The bteakfasts were a pleasure, delicious continental style with plenty of choice. The bedroom felt a little tired but the huge balcony with direct seaview more than made up for it. We loved all the pictures & artwork depicting the hotel in the 1920s. The staff are all delightful, from the lovely ladies on reception, the night guy, , the breakfast staff & the cleaners, all of thdm an absute credot to this lovely hotel. Thank you .
The bedroom & bathroom a little tired but didnt detract from our stay.

Really close to the beach promenade and the beach. This house has a lot of Charme! You feel taken back to the good old times ;) The croissants in the morning are great. The night porter needs a special mention - he was amazing helping us put away our bikes in the night.
The breakfast was nothing to talk home about. Cheese looked as if it had been lying around a bit longer. Hair dryer overheated pretty quickly. Took some time for warm water to arrive in the second floor. It's a bit of a hassle with parking your car, since the streets get cleaned once a week and you have to shift around where you park.

The aircon worked well, the staff were friendly. The bathroom was spotless
The rooms were in need of fresh paint the walls were quite marked. The beds were uncomfortable and loads of mosquitoes. Breakfast was meagre

Location, architecture, interior.
No parking. There is a three place parking spot in front and they use all of them for the guests when they check in, when there aren't so many options for so many guests at the same time arriving or leaving. They can use one and let the other two for parking at least. It s very boring searching for a parking spot nearby.

Close to the beach and in line with the Art Nouveau style of many of the buildings in the area. The staff were friendly and helped us with street parking which was very affordable.
The room we got initially smelled really bad due to problems with the sewage system. We barely slept the first night due to the smell. The staff changed it for us on the second day and the second room was fine but still the bath would not drain properly which was annoying. The breakfast was really limited and even the bread was dry. The area is very busy so at night it’s not really possible to keep your windows open as it’s super noisy.

Villa Tina is a beautiful hotel with balconies that overlook the sea! Exactly as pictured but even better, and the staff were extremely kind and accomodating.
This isn't a perfect review because I found it extremely inappropriate that I was told "the room you're in has a 3 day minimum" at 11pm when returning to the hotel my second (and final) night. Then they said "Don't worry - it's free until Tuesday if you want to stay even longer!" I found it very upsetting and ruined my impression of the hotel that they tried to force me to stay/pay for another night. The hotel never said anything when I checked in, and it was pretty clear Thursday they realized they had no reservation for Friday-Tuesday so tried to make me stay another night per "policy." I was flying back to NYC the next day and told them so, and it was never mentioned again. The night staff - an extremely kind man - notified me of this "3 day" policy, and was gracious about the exchange. However, I find it very disgusting of management to send him to give me the message & they never mentioned it to me face-to-face afterwards as well. It was a last minute attempt to get more money from me, and I would not stay there again. Very upsetting after such a nice stay to have this be the last impression.

The staff were so nice and the hotel itself was very beautiful. The parking was easy and the hotel was right next to the beach. The man who worked the night shifts was SO caring and sweet. Thank you for your kindness!
