Serene getaway in the lap of mountains!

Warm people, good food, serene view of peaceful nature, spacious room with good interior and balcony filled with plants are some USP of this property. This is a great place to spead quality time with the family or friends. Would surely love to visit it again.

There is nothing to dislike about this place, someone who has been to mountains would definitely love the place as the owner and the staff leave no stone unturned to make your stay comfortable

A great stay for us and surely look forward to come back. Overall, We had a lovely stay.

Magpie was a home away from home. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern. Decor has been very pleasant. The place was green, clean, beautiful and truly in nature's lap. Neha, the owner, very sweet lady. Although we panned to stay for 4 days, but had to return after 2 days due to some urgency back home. Neha understood us and adjusted our request nicely. Property is superb with so much trees of fruits. The staffs (Mohit and team) were very hospitable, flexible and warm. Place has beautiful view of Bhimtal lake and mountain valleys. The place is perfect to spend time with family .Scenic view is fantastic. You can enjoy birds chirping when wake up in the morning.. This is a great place to relax and also conveniently located for adventures and site seeing. The location is a bit far from the main road, . A great stay for us and surely look forward to come back. Overall, We had a lovely stay.

A lovely place with beautiful view

The rooms were big, well ventilated and had an amazing view. The view was something I could sit all day and enjoy. The place was green, clean, beautiful and truly in nature's lap. The owner Neha and the staffs (Mohit and team) were very hospitable, flexible and warm. We requested for an extra heater and blankets and they did. We requested for an early checkin and they accommodated it. We requested for non veg dinner and they provided it. Overall, We had a lovely stay.

The location was a little interior in the hills and on the tab. Recommended to go by a car. going on foot would be very tiring. Food was fresh but we didn't find it tasty.

Ithough not as expected, overall it was nice. Just take care of above mentioned issues

The view in and out

It has an amazing view of Bhimtal from the hill. The rooms are well seperated from each other and are neatly decorated to give a pleasing experience. Spacious rooms with balcony and ample of seating. Good staff. Mohit is really helpful, welcoming and accommodating. I loved the art collection by Neha and the small book collection in the dining room. The beautiful gardens are cherry on top.

It is quite a task to reach the location. But it is worth all the efforts. Mohit was kind enough to fetch us on the way. Limited food and beverage options. However, the breakfast is good enough to give your day a good start.

Overall a good and memorable stay

The room was beautiful and the ambience of the place is just awesome. There is so much greenery, flowering plants, lil succulents around with birds chirping. Our room was facing the bhimtal river so the scenary was pretty amazing. The food was also well prepared and was just like home (non greasy/oily). I was traveling with old parents and wanted to ensure they have a peaceful and quiet stay with healthy food. The staff ensured all of this.

The property is at a very very steep height and we burnt our car tires while driving uphill. Please be careful about this point. Also, it's located so much uphill that coming down for a stroll to the lake won't be possible for you. The hotel description doesn't specify this point.

A nice retreat on a hilltop

A nice and cosy retreat on a hill overlooking the lake and the entire town. The room was on its own floor open on three sides. Two private balconies with a beautiful view of Bhimtal. The staff is very cooperative and takes care of the guests. Good is good and cooked fresh. Do not expect a lavish menu or variety but very good quality. The climb to the retreat is steep both for a vehicle as well as walking up.

Everything, the view from the room was mesmerizing. Staff were very humble. Will recommend for peaceful stay.

Nothing, just the road to resort is bit tricky to drive.

Fantastic stay.

Best cottage ever. Had a fantastic stay at magpie. Beautiful view from the balcony. Equipped with all the amenities like room heater, mini fridge, microwave etc. Amazing room. Very clean. Loved the interiors as well as the exterior of the cottage.. feels like I am living admist nature. Very cooperative care taker.

No restaurant in the cottage..they only provide breakfast. The location is bit high and hard to find.
