Very nice apartment - exactly as described. Contact with owner and responsible person in Cannes was always flawless and immediate. The apartment is really in the heart of Cannes - everything in walking distance; neverthelss quite and we had a good sleep in very comfortable beds. Definetly a recommendation for a stay at the Cote d’Azur.

Perfect location , spacious and well looked after. Equipped with all you may need.The check in and out process was easy and very well communicated. Good place to stay in Cannes for a family with kids as it’s very close to the restaurants and beach etc. On many occasions we were using the swimming pool by ourselves, meaning lots of fun for kids. Thank you and we will definitely be back soon !

The property was immaculate. Everything was in excellent working order. It felt like ‘home from home’. Comfort and luxury. The balconies are an added bonus. Excellent location. Sandrine (who met us on our arrival and before we departed) is a gem….such a lovely person and incredibly helpful. Thank you Sandrine! All our interactions with the host were dealt with in a very professional manner.

The apartment was very spacious and in an excellent location- just a 10 minute walk to the shops and beach. The high spec, well equipped, kitchen was superb.

The property is comfortable with all amenities. Communication with the owner, Stephen, was pleasant with extensive and useful information imparted and hand over at the start/end was very friendly and efficient (thanks Sandrine!) and the apartment was cleaned and maintained to a high standard. The apartment is very secure and the gated underground parking space very useful. I would recommend a medium sized car as a maximum due to the space being quite tight. Our rental Jeep Renegade just about fitted OK. Is an easy 10 minute walk to the Croisette / Rue d'Antibes and a good sized supermarket (Intermarche) and local shops are just around the corner. All the other residents we encountered in the building were friendly and polite too and appreciated a 'bonjour' !

We had a super stay in the apartment. We were met by Sandrine who showed us around and described how everything worked. Everything was to a tee, very comfortable, AC fantastic, kitchen and washing facilities perfect, parking, swimming pools, just really good. And very close to a large Intermarche supermarket. Main shops and beach all in walking distance. We really loved it and would highly recommend.

We arrived in Cannes on a Saturday to beautiful sunny warm weather, the apartment was fabulous...spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and with all amenities. We had breakfast each morning on the sunny terrace (one of two) enjoying freshly baked delights from the local bakery just around the corner. The apartment is so close to the centre and easily within walking distance. We also made use of the pool... so refreshing on a hot day!! To conclude I would most definitely recommend this apartment to anyone ....the location is great.

We recenly stayed at the Le Ponant apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay there and our time in Cannes. The apartment is in a great location and is extremely well appointed, very tastefully furnished and spacious. (Our daughter really appreciated the superfast WiFi!). The wee balcony off the bedrooms was a great spot to catch the afternoon sun and we were pleasantly suprised by how quiet the apartment was. The block itself is also beautifully maintained and very secure and with a well maintained pool area which, to be honest, we didn't use as much as we perhaps had planned as the Croisette and the Plage du Midi are a comfortable walk away and it was no effort to walk down to the railway and bus station and through the town to Rue d'Antibes, Le Suquet etc. We were delighted to find a well stocked Intermarche about 5 mins walk away and a nice wee shop "Festival du Fruit" en route to the underpass at the station. Booking arrangements and communication with Stephen were excellent and we have to make a special mention of Sandrine who was absolutely charming - welcoming us on arrival, being very informative and even getting in touch to check that we were ok following the tragic events in Nice. She is an absolute star. Cannes itself is lovely and we enjoyed using the efficient public transport system for days out to Antibes, Grasse, St Paul de Vence etc, and the short ferry trip to the Ile des Lerins. We would thoroughly recommend Le Ponant as a smart and comfortable base for a break - whether you want to explore the wider area or simply relax in Cannes and pretend to be part of the beau monde!

This is a really modern two bedroom apartment. Great for the summer, with a large balcony and a second smaller balcony and the building has a communal swimming pool. It's within walking distance of the Croisette and the centre of Cannes. Stephen is really helpful and we look forward to renting this apartment again in the future.

We stayed at the apartment for three weeks. Sandrine met us and showed us around and was very efficient and provided excellent advice on restaurants and places to visit. The apartment is conveniently located a short walk from Cannes railway and bus station. Would recommend paying for parking space in garage if using a car. Description and photographs of the accommodation was accurate and I would not hesitate to recommend the property to friends and relatives. Cannes is a great place to visit and in three weeks we took in all the sights from Frejus through to Menton using the trains, bus or car. Would recommend using the bus service if you intend visiting Grasse, Mougins or Pergomas.

We have just returned from our fabulous holiday in Le Ponant apartment. The apartment wasreally lovely, just as it looks in the photographs. The kitchen/living room were modern clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bedrooms were ample size with ok storage, the extra portable rail was handy. Though I would have preferred crisp white bed linen.I know this is difficult in a rental but it's what I would expect in a luxury apartment. Shutters kept the light out and it was exceptionally quiet so we slept well. The pool area was very clean and quiet most days which we enjoyed although I dont think our 13 year old daughter agrees. Walk to town was an easy 10 minutes. Train station 5 minutes walk. We visited Nice, Monte Carlo and St Paul de Vence. Supermarkets and fantastic boulangerie/patisserie were only 2 minutes away. Stephen the owner and Sandrine our contact at the appartment were so nice and very helpful. Overall we were very pleased with the apartment although the bathroom does need a refurb.

Sehr angenehme und prompte Korrespondenz bei der Buchung. Auch spätere Fragen wurden unverzüglich beantwortet. In der Wohnung wurden wir freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen und über sämtliche Einrichtungen informiert! Die Wohnung hat eine angenehme Grösse für bis zu 4 Personen; das Bad ist im Verhältnis zu den übrigen Räumlichkeiten sehr klein ... zu zweit im Badzimmer "mühsam"! Um die Wohnung wie beschrieben als luxoriös zu bezeichnen, müsste wieder mal einiges renoviert resp. ersetzt werden; die Auflagen zu Terrassenstühlen abgewohnt, die Bratpfanne und Kochlöffel mehr als "gebraucht" und unappetitlich, Microwelle dreht nicht (Brandgefahr), Wasserhahn in Küche und Bad spritzt auf alle Seiten ... habe ich erst mal Entkalker gekauft und über Nacht entkalkt ...teilweise Regale (im Schlafzimmer) nur noch Halterungen vorhanden ... alles keine grossen Mängel, aber an deren Summe gemessen, dann doch nicht ganz, was wir erwartet haben und weit weg von "luxoriös"! Die Terrasse im 1. Stock liegt direkt zur Seite, wo zwei Einbahnstrassen sich treffen, deshalb etwas lärmig und man ist nicht so für sich wie man möchte, da die Fussgänger direkt auf die Terrasse Einblick haben! Und unter der Woche schon frühmorgens ab 08.00 reger Betrieb auf der Einbahnstrasse , da in der Nähe eine Schule ist und sämtliche Schüler an dem Wohnkomplex "vorbeipilgern" ! Zum öffentlichen Strand (plage publique) an der Croisette sind es sicherlich 25 Min. Fussweg ... als Erwachsener noch machbar, mit Kindern abzuraten (muss eine breite 4spurige Strasse überquert werden). Pool im Garten haben wir kurz besichtigt! Sehr karg und unpersönlich, empfanden wir nicht als ansprechend. Alles in allem akzeptabel, aber keinesfalls luxoriös! Gegessen haben wir sehr gut und hier einige Adressen, die wir empfehlen können (wir waren jeweils abends da/nicht mit kleinen Kindern): Restaurant Le Jardin (15 av. Isola Bella) ..5 Min. (tolle Grilladen in einem grossen Garten) Rest. Aux petits anges (4 rue Marceau) ... 10 Min. (Menu ab EUR 37) Rest. Le Rendez-Vous (35 rue Felix Faure) ...12 Min. (Menu ab 26.50) Rest. Mantel (22 reu Saint-Antoine) ...15 Min. (Menu ab EUR 35) Alle Zeitangaben gelten für Fussgänger! Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut, direkt um die Ecke ein Intermarché, die Post oder Bushaltestelle ca. 5 Min. Fussweg entfernt!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. The location is excellent, 5 mins from the market, 10 mins from the sea front. It's an ideal base if you are looking to do a bit of sightseeing as it's so close to Cannes railway station and the buses. The apartment is clean, quiet, light and airy and oh so comfortable. There are all the mod cons, just like being at home, only better because it's in Cannes. The beds are really comfortable, we slept like logs. Will we return there? Indeed we will!

From start to finish everything was just wonderful. The apartment is situated in a brilliant location - a mere 10 minute walk to the hub of the city life...Modern, clean and comfortable. Even though we went late in the year (October) the sun shone every day for the whole week. This enabled us to have breakfast on the balcony with the freshly bought warm croissants and baguette from the local bakery shop. Bliss. If you like people watching then you could spend the whole week just sitting in the many atmospheric cafes wishing you could imitate the sheer style of those french ladies... We ate every night in different superb restaurants in Cannes. During the day we hopped on the train (always on time) to Antibes, Monte Carlo,Nice,Saint Paul and even took the boat trip across to the small islands within Cannes. Go and enjoy!

We are just back from a wonderful three week stay at Le Ponant and already miss it terribly. A very modern & clean apartment with every mod con available. [incl tv/dvd/wifi/good shower/comfortable beds/excellent security/pool/balcony/full equipped kitchen].We will without doubt stay here again & will recommend it to friends.5 minute walk to Rue d'Antibes/Gambetta fruit & veg market. Croisette probably a 6/7 minute walk.Basic but good supermarket one minute from apartment and lovely bakeries nearby.All the restaurants [rue Felix Faure or at old port in Cannes are approx 15/20 minute walk away via rue d'Antibes [main shopping street].Stephen [the owner] is very efficient and was a pleasure to deal with as was the "meet and greet" Anne.Pool area very nice although pool very cold! Could not recommend this apartment enough.It is a very well kept building with exceptional security.Two bedrooms and would suit couple/group of 4 girls for a weekend/family.
