loved the touches such as the fancy nepresso machine in the room, welcome cookies and water, cute fridge, sound machine! all the touches were very nice and made it feel very worth it

It was very clean. Updated. It had everything we needed. Very easy check in process. Probably the easiest ever. Parking was great. Loved the keyless entry.
The bed was a little too hard for my taste. A little low. But that is just preference. No pool or hot tub or anything. But we were gone most of the time anyways.

It was clean and quite
A person you talk to. Everything was online and keyless entry so if there was a problem no one was there to fix it

Good location and easy access and streamlined processes despite not having a reception.
No hot water for the first night but got to move to a different room with hot water the second day with a partial discount to compensate.

Loved the newly renovated room and the cleanliness of the space. The bed was very comfortable, and they had a great mini fridge, microwave, and tea kettle. The TV works if you have a subscription to any streaming service (Netflix, HBO, Youtube, etc.). Also, the water pressure in the shower was great.
I wish their towels were larger and thicker, and that they provided a better bathroom matt. There isn't live staff onsite, so if you have an issue you need to call or text the hotel. They are quick to respond, though at around 8pm I did have to wait outside their lobby for a good 10 min until they sent me the door code.

cleanliness, bathroom products, room was ok
room was not well isolated from outside noise. at night you could hear all the cars passing on a (busy) road and every other client opening/closing their car and room doors. the staff did suggest using a “white noise” machine but that didn’t help. also Wifi wasn’t as fast as advertised

Toiletries
Request during booking was not considered in accepting my booking. Results in a long agonizing delay in check in at night for more than 1 hours.

I like this place... Not too far from campus or University Ave, and the beds were comfy. They had a good entertainment system, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
You can tell it's a remodeled old building... the sealing around the doors and windows is poor... you can see the light and feel the air through the gaps. Also, if you're on the bottom floor, you get to hear the floor creaks of the room above you. And the walls are very thin, so conversations are easy to overhear. Thankfully, people were hushhush so that wasn't too much of an issue.

Eco-consciousness.
Very noisy heater that didn't work well. TV extremely difficult to navigate, and no selection of news unless specially installed. High charge for "security deposit" which I cannot afford, plus it was given once originally and then added to on the last day unexpectedly. Not fair business practice.

although the hotel is stated as pet-friendly, but their tolerance of pet marks is very limited and strict, compared to other pet-friendly hotels. They easily charge you extra fine (or deposit + ban the guest for future stay) due to any pet-caused outcome. That's not fair and way beyond an attitude as a pet-friendly hotel. I would suggest guests who travel with their pets avoid this hotel and Kasa group.

Great, freshly remodelled property with self-checkin, and well designed rooms. I loved the fast wifi, Nespresso coffee and fancy bath products.

I was put in a room without a desk. The staff noticed and offered us switching to another room on the next day. That's very thoughtful. I really appreciated that.

My partner had to have stomach surgery at Stanford hospital this was one of the good ones not only did they give us a early check in but when my partner got out of surgery and came back she couldn’t make it up the stairs the owner had no problem giving us a downstairs room as he had one vacant he even helped me get her into the room thank you for the kind hospitality
Not a big issue for most but if your a gamer like myself The Wi-Fi was tricky and couldn’t hook up my ps5 like I normally do with other Wi-Fi but like I said no big issue my phone was able to use Wi-Fi 😊
