If you’re looking for a cozy romantic get away this is a number one spot for it!

It’s such a quaint romantic Inn that you actually feel like you are in England! When we arrived they had the fireplace going and tea service with china cups, tea pot and home made cookies ! Such a wonderful touch to our special get away!

We were very satisfied with our stay.

I stayed here in the early 2000’s, but my memory of the building itself didn’t match my recent experience. However, the staff was great, the restaurant food was excellent. We ate there 3 times. Really the only con was our room was the closest one to the front desk and restaurant, but we opted to just stay there. The Bagel cafe across the road was perfect for coffee and breakfast.

We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

Though The Georgetown Inn was built in 1993, it has the decor and charm of of an old English Inn. We absolutely loved our room and the restaurant/pub!

The air conditioning unit didn’t cool our room adequately. It should be updated but this wouldn’t deter us from staying at this lovely Inn.

Beautiful and historic hotel with a comfy feel. Loved the option of having restaurant downstairs.

Delicious breakfast with generous portions. Love the strawberry French toast!

Small room. Sound proofing was poor. I was kept awake with the noise from the next room shower.

Location, room was quaint, breakfast was great at the Pub but the view was beautiful!

Clearly a bit dated and was also a bit noisy at times.

One of the best hotels I´ve ever stayed at!

Everyone at the Georgetown was great! They really went all the way to ensure my stay was top! They helped out with celebrating my fiancees birthday! I cant express how gratefull we are with the experience! The bed was top! Extremely comfortable, along with all the amenities in the room! Thanks to all the staff at the Georgetown!

wonderful weekend getaway.

From the moment i walked through the front doors and met by the staff at the counter i knew this was going to be a great stay. From the ambience of the room with fireplace all be it electric and the the teapot with tea cups and the shortbread cookies was fantastic. The inn has the original old world appeal to it and the pub and food was excellent. Parking can be a little tight but overall i would recommend this place to anyone. Especially those who like to have the old world feel with a touch of modern .

Parking is a little tight but there is no cost. Just sometimes it fills up real quick.

Our stay was excellent – we had a late check in time but we were so easily accommodated. One thing that stood out most was cleanliness of the bathroom & room. I was impressed by how every corner of the bathroom was hygienic. Their conditioners, shampoo, body wash etc were surprisingly moisturizing and it felt like a luxury stay. Additionally, the rooms were very vintage looking with collectibles that gave a comforting feel to the room. We had a bathtub/spa in the living room & that was the best part of our stay. Also the restaurant's breakfast was 10/10. I loved our stay. Maybe the only downside was not having a person at the lobby at all times. But we were given a phone number that we could call 24/7.

A cozy English Inn in a growing town with modern accommodations

very cozy and loved the proximity of the pub to our room. The kettle and tea options were a nice bonus in the room

If the pub had a few more booths or music we would’ve stayed longer and had more drinks.

cozy, charming and comfortable atmosphere and decor, staff was helpful and friendly, and room felt clean and welcoming as soon as I entered it (have stayed in other places before where a room had a grimy feel)

Cozy atmosphere, very clean & comfortable, short walk to town centre

Location was a short walk to downtown, didnt hear much traffic at night. Room was very comfortable and very clean. Will definitely go back and stay again. Our room had a lovely view of the mountains.

We had supper in the restaurant at the inn, I had the Guinness & beef pie which was delicious, but we ordered cauliflower bits to share and they were deep fried, but they were burned, as was my husband fish & chips, which was disappointing. So we didn't eat breakfast there, we checked out & went to a little eatery up in the town.

Loved the room.. It was wonderful. The option of stairs or Elevator was great. Staff were fantastic.. Helpful and friendly.. A fantastic place to eat while we were there

..small parking spaces out behind the hotel.. If you have a big vehicle you may have some difficulty
