Parking lot open to anyone not staying at resort, people from outside not staying at resort were parking and just walking in through gate to access beach.

ocean access, outdoor shower, pool, on site amenities. We did not try the WAVES restaurant but did patron the longboard restaurant. There are quite a few local shops to go to for breakfast. Overall experience was lovely! We stayed on-site for all of our beach activities.
nothing.

very upset from the start
booked room with an Ocean front view
got a room with a shore line view
front desk said what Booking.com calls Ocean Front is not what they call Ocean Front
Specifically booked this room for the view cost was secondary... I got screwed by Booking.com
customer service was horrible

nice beach, staff was welcoming
needs some serious renovation as the facilities seem stuck in the 80's

The proximity of the hotel to Cape Canaveral, the courteous staff was fine. The shampoo hair conditioner and body gels were very nice. The beach although cold for the season, was nice.
When we arrived we found that the room was cold. 68 degrees!! We tried to heat it up, but it was impossible. We contacted the front desk and they immediately sent a technician to help out. He said it was impossible to help us since the system does not work immediately. When we asked how long, he said at least a day or two. Hence we were to be in a cold 68 degree room for the next 24/48hrs? We were furious! He said that the only thing we could do was to ask for a 'space heater', down at the front desk. I went down to get one. While I was there, the man stayed with my husband as he opened a room located in the bathroom, and showed him how the system works. He also mentioned that the system was archaic, people did complain about the cold in some rooms. He had asked that the system be changed, but nothing was ever done. This bathroom had a room with a motor inside it, which seemed to be the unit which ran the heating/cooling system. It was very loud. As for me, when I got downstairs, the receptionist, Suzanne, was waiting for me with the small 'space heater'. She smiled at me, almost apologetically, stating that it would heat up the room very well until the heating unit in our room would finally take over. Anyways, I told her that this was unacceptable and that I would not be giving a good review. I would expect and probably have no choice but to accept this in a low class hotel, but that I was very shocked at this solution given to me by a Hilton Hotel. I was expecting them to give us another room....not to give me a 'space heater' to take up to our room. Needless to say that I hardly slept all night long, with the 'space heater' running throughout the night trying to keep a temperature of only 72 going. Did not sleep at all the first night! Horrible 1st day! We left everything running all day. It was finally at a comfortable temperature when we returned.

Location was close to Cocoa boardwalk. Nice restaurant on site, plus Tiki bar and snack bar inside with Starbucks (which was a lifesaver as restaurant coffee was undrinkable- very weak). Nice pool and also little splash area for the little grand kids.
CONSTRUCTION!! They state won't start 'til 9am, but the unloading of materials and noisy trucks started at 0800- rude awakening and last day of trip w/ long drive home.... Also walls are thin- first time on trip we were disturbed by neighboring room's noice until 1130 pm.

On arrival we was given room 135 ..it was awful. It was very tired and dark with the view making it even worse. We had a container directly near our window. We went to management and they give us a much nicer room with no fuss. The manager on duty was exceptional and sorted our issues out Breakfast was really nice with a great selection.
Room 135 ! This room shouldn’t be offered to anyone

The room and the beach were outstanding as were the staff. Our visit was let down by the communal toilets near reception, on more than one occassion when my wife used them they were not the cleanest we have seen.
Other than the above, the hotel and staff was great.

on the beach and great dining options
The maid service was terrible. I understand that we do not need to wash sheets every night, but getting fresh towels was a struggle. Made stopped in our room made our bed and that was it. Left trash and no clean towels.
