Great atmosphere, excellent staff. Really comfy space, LOVED the outdoor area.
Beds were a little squeaky.

Like that the place was quiet. The gathering place was on the bottom floor while the sleeping quarters were above.
The bathroom could have been larger. Hard to brush teeth and do morning routine. No female dorms in the complex

Good location. Communal kitchen busy at peak times

Super clean and spacious! I’m so glad I stayed here, the parking was a bonus too!
Nothing, it exceeded all expectations

This hostel does not serve breakfast but there is a stove and microwave and a huge kitchen downstairs where you enter the building. There are also two refrigerators and plenty of storage space,
You enter the building through the first floor, where the generous kitchen is. It would be good to have access to a bathroom downstairs. The bathrooms for the dorm are on the third floor (just upside the dorm).

Having to climb 2 flights of stairs to my room.

The location is great, and the owner is super friendly!
We loved the kitchen, it’s a very cozy common room, and in general this place is great for groups

nice architecture, lots of space indoors and out
felt private and homey. loved the common room and all the books😀also loved the swing
wasn’t such a fan of the bathroom being so far away from our room and next to the kitchen

location, amenities, staff, and views were all excellent
Only thing I have to say about the entire stay was that there was bleach stains on my pillow case and that the style of bedding in the private rooms got white fuzz from the blankets all over my dark clothes which was frustrating

nothing. I love staying here.

The back, with the view of the bay. Really nice host. Quiet.
Shower could be a little cleaner.

Andy was a delight. He was friendly and accommodating. The hostel is a 15 minute walk to town and an 8 minute walk to the Wild Pacific Trail. I only saw 3 other guests during my stay so it was very quiet. I'm sure during peak season this would not be the case.

The B&B is ideally located at the entrance of Ucluelet in a quite and peaceful area. Rooms are individuals and each one has its own bathroom. The kitchen is ideal and a great place to gather with others.

Ian is a great host. The hostel has a private beach with a deck where you can watch the herons and the ducks. You can hear the sea lions from a distance. The house is gorgeous and peaceful. The kitchen is perfect. Ucluelet is an amazing place where you can hike, kayak, eat great food and drink fantastic coffee. I'm in love with the place!

Great location, fairly priced lodging. Would come again.
The bed was slightly too small for 2 people.

The location was really great, we had all facilities around by. The hostel had large spaces of parking. The patio was also nice for a outside dining, there was a hidden place in the garden where we could chill on the beach.
The staff was nice but seemed a bit distracted. We didn't get our towels for the first night, and we couldn't find a staff to know if we can use the barbecue.

Great value, backyard with amenities, private bathroom
Staff wasn’t really around, no paper towels in kitchen or tissue paper in bathrooms/guest rooms making cleaning up a little difficult, bath towels didn’t seem clean

The garden and the common kitchen
The owner who is not polite to the point of being insulting if you dare asking for a room change when you have paid a fortune $190 per night for 3 nights..room are tiny, lots of noise and owner keeps locking the front door and act as if you are not welcome around. Frustrating for an expensive place, wish we.could have gone back to the Pacific rim motel for a better value

The private rooms were spacious and could sleep 3-4 very comfortably. Clean space, plenty of space from other groups to feel safe distance-wise. Lots of available items in the kitchen to help out with cooking (really everything you could need). due to COVID we were given a private bathroom just for our room. Down by the water, a short walk away from the building, there are little trails, hammocks, a firepit, and the ocean with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The beauty of the property exceeded my expectations! Staff (Andy?) was super chill and kind.

Everything was perfect. The host is really nice. The kitchen is well equipped and the private bedroom really comfortable. I stayed two nights and had a great time. There is a private access to the sea, a BBQ and fireplace outside.

I loved the surrounding area the most.
Paying so much for a hostel.
