Kategorie Hostel; leider nicht gepflegt. Ich würde es nicht mehr buchen.

> Keine Rezeption; der Zugang erfolgte problemlos via Email-Information vorab. Die Informationen waren sehr gut strukturiert und verständlich. > Parkhaus; direkt gegenüber (mit Gebühr) > Lage; ok. Eine Parallelstraße von der Einkaufsmeile entfernt. Nachteil: laut duech das eigene Restaurant (nicht dort gegessen)

Wer kein Problem damit hat, in einer Unterkunft zu schlafen die eher wie ein Hostel ist, wird beim Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis zufrieden sein. Ich hab mich nicht wohl gefühlt, da es > nur oberflächlich "sauber" war (Sanitärbereich war nicht sauber geputzt, die Möbel waren speckig, es waren Schamhaare auf dem Boden) > mein Bett war nicht frisch überzogen (es waren fremde Haare darauf) > das Zimmer schon deutlich sichtbar abgenutzt war (Dellen in den Wänden, Abnutzung des Stuhles) > das Haus so dicht zu anderen Häusern steht, dass ich die Vorhänge immer zu hatte damit die Nachbarn nicht reinschauen Achtung: diese Unterkunft ist nichts für Menschen die Schwierigkeiten mit Treppen oder schwerem Gepäck haben! Kein Aufzug!

De la peinture décollait des murs pas endroit car vieux bâtiment historique mais c’était très propre.

The property was clean and good location

The night we arrived, the neighbour had several visitors. She was very loud with her multiple guest throughout the night

Fantastic place to stay in historic downtown St. John's

We've stayed several times at this Inn and love it! It's in the historic downtown area and so convenient to the shopping and nightlife. There's parking in front of the Inn but if that's filled, there's a parking garage right across the street! We paid $6 for 12 hours! The room is lovely, clean, and comfortable and you can't beat the price!!

There's nothing we could have asked for that wasn't already there!

customer service is important…and please figure out where that smell in the hall is coming from

location and I liked the mattress

we were checking in late at night, it was cold and windy. I didn’t receive the email with the code, it was sent to booking.com but never got delivered to my email like the rest of the emails. I pushed the call button and told him I didn’t have the code. He said check your email and hung up before I could tell him I didn’t get the email. so I called again. he said I looked it was sent to Booking.com, I told him I booked online at home on my computer and didn’t have the login information on my phone. he came down and took my phone and scrolled through all my emails to make sure I wasn’t lying all while we stood outside in the cold. finally he let us in. the hallway also has a smell of diesel. it reminded me of being on a marine ferry.

It was a good stay.

The road parking in front of the Duckworth Inn is good. However, I don't know if they will close it for the summer to put the patio back. The location is very close to the Duke of Duckworth Bar which is perfect for us. We only have to go upstairs to sleep after.

The building and the room are ancient. It needs a little bit of renovation and fresh paint. Everytime we stayed there, seagulls woke us up every morning. Well, we can't do anything about that.

Just disappointed about my rings

I liked the price, comfort and location. Was left alone which is exactly what I wanted

I left 2 silver rings in my room, called twice about it and they weren’t apparently found

Cozy and practical hotel with traditional vibes

Loved the location, it was right downtown so it was great for walking to restaurants and the harbour! We opted for the private washroom, and the room was so cozy! Everything was super clean and staff ensured we knew how to access the building so it was a seamless check in.

We didn’t have any issues with this hotel, it was beyond what we expected!

Disappointing

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The food was good in the lounge.

When they say it's noisy, believe them. Kept up until 3am with bar music and talking in the street. Also, a mouse came into my room. Didn't stay for the second night of my reservation.

Hotel was right in the middle of town so very close to all attractions. A lot was within walking distance

I would have liked to have someone greet me when we got to the hotel. There was no one available except by phone

Liked the location.

Didn’t like large stain on bed covering and extra blankets were hanging off shelf - not sure if the blankets were clean. Also room was stuffing - needed some fresh air.
