The fact they refunded my 1st nights stay. They allowed me to cancel the remainder of my stay. The reason stemmed from an insect problem in the room and I was told by the night clerk there were no other rooms available. They didn't even offer to try and care for the problem. The manager that was on site the next day took care of the situation for me.

The location and that we only had to be there one night.
Rooms were dirty. Staff were nice but really clueless. Seems to be a long term accomodation place on the whole. One moth later they haven’t returned out deposit and we’re going through booking.com to get it back.

Very noisy 2AM on July 1 Banging doors, loud talking. loud footsteps above. I couldn't sleep.
The Shampoo, Conditioner and Body wash in the shower were unusable, possibly empty. I had to borrow my daughter's .

Absolutely nothing!
Everything. Property was dirty - trash on the floors everywhere. Non-smoking property but my room smelled like smoke my whole visit. Bed was horribly uncomfortable - left with my neck and back in pain and unable to move. Noise was ridiculous - front desk did nothing about it. No phone in room so I could call the front desk about the noise. Room was dirty, uncomfortable and noisy!

The location was the best thing regarding this hotel.
The elevator is questionable, I thought I was going to get stuck a few times. And there was no iron in my room (Which is one of if not the main reason I stay at hotels for work). I have to keep my clothes sharp and was unable to do so. So this was highly unfortunate.

There was an African American woman who was the Morning Front Desk worker who was warm, friendly, professional, helpful and kind. She is a blessing. Do what you can to keep her and find more people like her.
If you need to stay in a hotel and leave with a story, stay at the MainStay Suites.
During my stay, which was from 14 November til 21 November, I was regularly exposed to the dulcet tones of couples pretending to be newlyweds above me. I hear every creak of the floor, bed and every moan and grunt and thrust and parry.
On another night, another couple coupled in the room next to me. Every noise was heard and felt this time, as my bed moved along with theirs, so thin these walls seem to be. I was so hoping the would not come through the wall, hard as they seemed to be trying.
I believe on Thursday, 17 November, there were 2 visits by the fire department, as the fire alarm went off at 8pm, for almost 60 minutes, and again at around 330am, for at least 30 minutes. During the lull in fire department visits, the guests were entertained by a visit by deputies of the Sheriff's Office, across from my room, as there was a melee of some kind at 2am. The banging on the door by the deputies was what woke me up.
If you want an eventful hotel experience for a "Film Noir" book you are writing, book your room at the MainStay Suites Hotel. If you just want peace and quiet, you might consider somewhere else. It was easy to feel unsafe there.

I had a place to rest after a long drive.
The staff frequently smoked right in front of the entrance. The bathroom was dirty and tub had hair in, and around it. It said they have breakfast but it not. It may be cheap but I say pay $20 more for a better hotel.
