Convenient location, good brekfast, friendly staff
The property needs more maintenance, obvious signs of wear in several areas.

Nothing
Had to wait for hours to check in when check in was at three. The receptionist said that the they were short in personal. The beds were covered in man hair, I couldn’t even sleep because I was itchy the whole night.

I stayed a whole week, they never did the three room I rented and no change of towels. I complained to the manager 4 times and he did nothing, definitely not a 3 star hotel.

Toilet didn't work in room. Someone brought up a plunger & tried handing it to me. They found us another room & it smelled moldy. We finally got the air conditioner to work but had no control over it. The next morning, the shower drain didn't work & overflowed on the floor.
"Hence, The Mold". Then, after check out, I find out they over charged me by $90.00 (over my quote).
We got no compensation for any of this & no-one seemed to care. We'll never go to another Fairfield Inn & will tell anyone that will listen, of our bad experience.

24/7 coffee is not true. They charge a 150.00 incidental fee - way too much. And, there was a rip in the curtain in my room...the breakfast was good. And the front desk clerk was very sweet.

The location. The hotel is located near to SUNY university .
The cleaning was once a couple of days and I always had to ask for the staff to come to clean the room. The shower was always clogging.

The breakfast was great 👍more than I expected . They even had coffee all day and night in the lobby.
The lady in the morning taking care of the breakfast area was rude when myself and my guest staying with me went for seconds(we split a bagel) the second time not that it should have mattered and I had another coffee.

1. Female staff member wouldn’t let me check in, even though the room was ready. The other staff member, sitting next to her, didn’t get his name, was VERY NICE AND KIND, and let me n my husband check in right away.
2. Guest smoking weed on the 3rd floor.

it was conveniently located across the street from UAlbany. able to stay nearby while visiting my baby attending school there. the lady who served the continental breakfast was a gem, truly went above & beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. and the front desk were very friendly as well.
the hallways smelled like unclean cat litter box. my room had double bed and one of the beds were not made, sheets just piled on top of the bed. the bathroom had a dead bug on the floor near tub.
