Perfect for what we needed.

I travel with a service animal, she gets mistaken for a pet, but she's a service animal. Other lodgings will not always allow service animals, especially if they have a no pet policy. This is the main reason I choose to stay at Motel 6. Not once have I had an issue with my service animal. They understand what she is and never asks anything more. I also have a non-service animal and with pets allowed, he gets to come too.

The motel is an older one, so it's a little run down. Our door and door lock are desperate need of replacement, it was tiring trying to wrestle with the door all the time. I had to throw my full weight against the door to open it and sometimes even though the key card slot flashed green, the door wouldn't open at all. The room was clean, if not a bit ragged around the edges. The heater unit was pretty old, but worked. The bath tub had the ring around it from many past guests and needs to be scrubbed.

Very nice stay if you want to stay close to the canyon

Nice, big beds and the location is very convenient

The washing machine area is the most unclean thing I've seen in a long time. Old band aids etc. in the machines. And very clearly not unclean as in after a few uses.

Perfect (affordable) place to stay for a Grand Canyon trip.

The room as a whole was comfortable and well maintained, and it felt nice and safe. Modern rooms, decent view of the town.

Not very accessible, had to wheel our suitcases up the stairs

Ingen køleskab, ingen hårtørrer (kunne dog lånes i reception) underlig lugt på værelset. De sagde det var rengøringsmidler 😏 Toget lige op ad hotellet så hurra for ørepropper. Ingen morgenmad selvom det står på booking.com

Passable

The location was great and they didn't charge for animals. The gentleman at night was very helpful and polite.

There was debris on the floor so it didn't seem like the floors were cleaned. The soap at the sink was already opened and looked used on top of a washcloth. When anyone took a shower the floor was soaked from seeping through.

Worst experience with Booking

We have booked hundreds hotel around the world with Booking and this was the worst ever. The room they gave us had strong smell of cigarette (it was a non-smoking room!), so that the smoke/fire alarm went off several times during the night. For this reason and the fact that we had arrived from a long journey the day before, we decided to sleep a few hours more than usual but still in time to check out by 11am, which is the latest time allowed by the motel. Well, already at 9.30 we were disturbed by the cleaning ladies who knocked on the door several times, as if that weren't enough, around 10.30am we receive a call in the room from the reception ordering us to check out on time by 11am...then asking the receptionist for clarifications about the reason of the room call, she tells us that it is a hotel policy…if the hotel's policy is to disturb customers even if they are perfectly on time for check out, I offer you my heartfelt congratulations. Going to the reception to deliver the keys to the room, it was exactly 10.45 am we approach the coffee machine to drink 2 simple coffees, but we were denied because we were told that they could be drunk within 10am (why?!)...and it was not about breakfast but simply 2 cups of coffee made with an automatic machine. Without taking other structures in the world, this is the twelfth structure where we stayed overnight in the USA and we have always had a great time, this was the first and last experience with Motel 6. “666 the number of the beast” Iron Maiden sang…from today a single 6 is more than enough!

did not sleep very well. we left very early in the morning to head home.

it was close to a local attraction and easy on easy off the interstate.

while the room itself was clean, the bed was a bit hard the pillows were to small. our room had no shampoo, conditioner or lotion. the bathrooms tub was peeling it needed to be replaced and the toilet needed to have a new mechanism put inside the tank. you had to flush the toilet and pour the ice bucket full of water in the bowl so it could flush. the tank would not fill to have a normal flush of the toilet. h he ad to ask the front desk for a blow dryer because the room did not have one.

Basic accommodation, typical of a Motel 6

Very basic accomodation which was clean. OK for a night.

Very clean and nice room in a wonderful town. I would absolutely be back.

VERY clean room and staff were really helpful. Perfect location only steps away from the cost village and its restaurants and souvenir shops.

The pool (indoors) turned out to be closed for refurbishment.

Very good

All that can be expected from a motel of that sort is to be clean and while not spotless, it was actually not too bad. Staff was helpful too. The walls are a bit thin, though not as thin as in a lot of other motels I stayed in. The noise from other rooms was not really disturbing at all, and the motel was almost full judging by the number of cars in the parking lot.

Shampoo/body wash would be a nice touch (they only provide a small bar of soap).

Nice place

Close to a grocery store and downtown.

One of the reasons that we wanted to stay here was because they had a pool. The pool was not open because of some damage. They didn't provide us with a discount and didn't provide us with another pool in a different location. That was annoying.

We were tranfered to a nearaby motel, the motel itself didn't look verty nice, but the room we got was right after renovation. To that detail, that we still had a smell of painting in the room and we didn't have any chairs..however we borrowed them from receptin. The reason we were tranferred was that the motel system didn't accept changing of credit card details which I did via booking.com far in advance. So they cancelled our reservation in the original location.

Good place to stay

Big car park nearby. Quick check in. Room spacious and clean. Fast WiFi. Restaurants nearby (receptionist recommended one), within walking distance. Good as place to start Journey on Road 66- many old cars in the town.

Good if you don’t mind the smell

Staff was friendly, room was clean enough.

Though it was no smoking, the room smelled like someone had been chain smoking in the 80s lol. The whole place was pretty musty. But it’s fine for a night.
