Nightmare on Tamiami St

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Upon arrival our check in was with a computer face timing with some lady from India. She quoted me $25 dollars for pet fee in which turn out to be $35 upon checkout. When entering my room with my family we all smelled a heredous musty oder with an attempt to cover it up with some cheap commercial cleaning solution. The carpet felt damp and everything looked cheap and thrown together. The small fridge sat on a plastic tray with 2 PCs of composite decking material underneath which wobbled back and fourth making it hard to close or even keep the door closes. The phone didn't work when we tried to use it to call the desk when our tv didn't work for an our due to lost signal. The shower and toilet are in one room while the sink is outside the door forcing you to have to get dressed in the shower toilet area which is like changing in a phone booth terrible. Try this with your 84 yr old mother in law need I say more. Not once did room service come and turn the beds, or even empty the garbage, I took it out Musella. We had to ask for fresh towels., and garbage bags to keep the place halfway descent. Breakfast was a complete joke. Days in should not be aloud to say they serve breakfast because a coffee machine, prebagged danishes, and a fake pancake machine doesn't constitute breakfast, they are snacks to hold you over. Also the pool was old and dirty didn't even want to sit there and relax. Pet friendly NOT! There was no are to really walk your dog the dog poop bag station was empty and the poop had to be thrown out in the garbage cans by the rooms because there wasn't a can were the poop bags were supposed to be. Last but not least our quote from booking.com was not honored with them telling me they didn't know why we were quoted that. DO NOT USE THESE DAYS IN THEIVES. THEY ARE WAY OVERCHARGING FOR A COMPLETE RUN DOWN CRAPHOLE. IF YOU WANT QUALITY AND A PLACE WERE U GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR GO TO LA QUINTA THIS PLACE WAS FABULOUS.

Very Clean. Lady at front desk at check in very friendly.

We checked out very early in the morning and had to talk to some guy on a computer screen who I could not understand. Stop all this computer junk. You are a service oriented business. Customers should be able to talk to real people in real time. Very frustrating when I have to keep telling the guy on the computer that I can't understand what he is saying. Also, I checked out a day earlier than planned and have not seen a credit for my last day show up on my credit card.

Would stay again and there are restaurants very conveniently close to the Hotel

All good .A little noise on the ground floor where the rooms have outside sitting area with Umbrellas . So the party goers noise travels.But otherwise they stopped early .

We liked the staff very much/ they were extremely hard working

we like the renovated room and center proximity to everything in the area

the noise from the neighbors going out on the patio deck to smoke cigarettes and marijuana. we were in the room next to the stairs and they stood right outside our door every time .. 12/1/2/3am … loud had a flight out of punta gorda at 4 am .. no sleep. The hair behind the bathroom door and stuck to the wall was yuck. price was crazy… two nites.. translated into over 700.00 Canadian.. resorts with full amenities might be worth it but not a hotel room with no view and no privacy . sorry we will pass on this property next trip

Too expensive for the conditions

It was quiet, bed was OK, staff was nice.

Breakfast was very poor, fridge not accessible for yougurts, milk. Etc...no bacon, eggs, apple juice was so water down. Paid 374 for 2 nights and the Breakfast was poor...room floor was dirty, after getting out from shower, I walked in the room, I had to go wash my feet and put socks because of such dirty floor.

Breakfast was great. but, there wasn't anything "hardy". Try offering biscuits and gravy, super cheap

I was not too fond of neighboring hotel stayers stalking me. I stayed on the third floor, whenever I walked down to my car after dusk. A Mexican repetitively asked me to, "come by him". Im like,,,,,nah bro.... He insisted to speak in Spanish. I than replied, I don't want anything from him.

Great Location!

Location is excellent and close to shopping and restaurants. Facilities were clean. Comfortable bed.

We never stayed there and canceled our reservation for the reasons I have listed in your next box.

it was a franchise operation in which check-in was done via video and they wanted an outrageous price for one evening. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone you need to investigate how these people are doing business. I live in Port Charlotte so I have access to all the hotels in the area I picked this Days Inn based on the advertised price. There were other hotels in the area closer to my home. Again you need to investigate this place.

Local & took my cats for two days stay while doing our new roof. Placed next to housekeeping room, scary & loud for pets & of course lasts a long time. First saw my old moldy tea bag in my coffee area, so not using coffee either. Water pockets in the paint, couple hooks on curtains, filthy, bathroom door knob coming off, 1/2 day w/o water & no one told me. Etc., I’m trying to forget about it. No way would I have gone to your breakfast!
