Absolutely loved our trip to London. Property was exactly as advertised. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Took a holiday right before Christmas with husband and friends. It was perfect for us. Friends family stayed on top floor and we were on 3rd floor. If you are not used to stairs, could be a problem but is normal for city. Location is close to transportation but a bit removed from all hot spots so it’s a bit quieter for sleeping. Lots of restaurants, stores and grocery near by. I highly recommend for those who don’t mind taking public transportation and don’t need to be in the center of all the hustle and bustle of London.

We spent 9 days in London (after researching many places, landed here). We are so grateful to have found this home, it was an awesome stay. Here’s a few good to knows for those of you debating on if you’ll book this home:
1: it’s a 4 story home on a fairly busy road. The area is incredible- lots of residential streets and restaurants, but this home is in front of a bus stop and 2 blocks from the hospital. It’s gated and still a great area. Just busy!
2: we recommend using white noise to sleep, otherwise it can be somewhat loud at night with the hospital so near
3: there’s a grocery store across the street and several a few blocks down the road. The nearest tube station is about a 15 min walk. Thames is near as well!
4: we were uncertain about nearest restaurants but realized there were tons of options so close! The pizza place down the street is the best we’ve ever had!
5: the space in the home was wonderful- 3 bedrooms, nice full stocked kitchen, big outdoor garden.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was a beautiful stay during our Vacation. The Inside was perfect. Unluckily I was not aware of the size of both streets next to the house and the frequent ambulances passing the crossing.
Good situated in London and good bus services to the center.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. This home is clean, well appointed, comfortable, spacious for a small family, convenient to groceries, buses, pubs, Stamford Bridge, the Underground, and more.
Martine is responsive and communicative, and was a great host. Highest recommendation for this great property! But don't tell anyone because we want to make sure it's available when we return. We would absolutely stay again.

We were there for a week with our grown daughters to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Lovely house, the backyard was such a bonus! Location couldn’t be beat - bus stop right outside the gate and a quick ride to the tube station. One thing to take note of is the stairs. House is on 4 levels

We have stayed at this property on a previous trip with our family (my husband and I, plus our young-adult children) and enjoyed every minute of it, once again, for our 2-week holiday! The home and garden are absolutely beautiful; it is conveniently located in Chelsea within walking distance of shops, restaurants, tube station, and a beautiful
old church (where we attended Christmas Mass); and the owners are prompt communicators who provide clear instructions for the use and safety features of their home. We are already planning our next trip and hope to stay here, again. Happy New Year, Martine! 🙂

The property is very accurately described in this listing. It is spacious, comfortable and filled with very interesting, colorful artwork. The bedding in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the communication with the owner, both before check-in and once during our stay. The location of the property is ideal for exploring all that London has to offer. The host has a large number of books on a very full bookcase detailing things to do in and around London. The close (15 minute walk) proximity to the Earl's Court tube station allowed us to explore the city. The neighborhood itself has so much to offer in terms of restaurants and conveniences such as food stores. I can highly recommend the wine shop Nysa Wine & Spirits on Fulham Road, and only a few minutes walk from the house. They are so helpful there.
While we knew this property was on multiple levels, one thing that wasn't fully appreciated when booking was the toll it could have on one's knees. Be prepared to climb and descend lots of stairs during a stay. Also be aware that there is no hand railing outside the front stairs, so care must be taken when entering/leaving the front entrance. The other thing that potential vacationers should be aware of is that the house is on a main road, very near to a large hospital. It is not uncommon to hear sirens during the day and into the evening. You will also experience typical (sometimes loud) city noise (buses (there is a stop right outside the house), motor scooters, car engines, horns, etc.) during the day and into the evening. It does quiet down the later in the evening and was not disruptive to sleeping.
The house is well-equipped, especially the kitchen in terms of pots/pans, dishes, glasses and utensils. Those of us who drink coffee especially appreciated the DeLonghi espresso machine. What a treat!
A few things we thought would have been nice to have: paper towels, napkins, aluminum foil, laundry detergent, soap and shampoo.
It was a great stay over the course of a full week, and I would not hesitate to recommend this property to those seeking to enjoy all the London has to offer. We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful home in a very good location, house was perfect for our family, but beware, there are a lot of steps to climb, typical of an old English home.

Two friends and I stayed here for a week dedicated to theater, museums, parks, and seeing old friends. The house was a lovely base, with comfort and privacy for each member of the group and common and outdoor spaces for meals and hanging out. Very convenient to Tube and busses. Great communication with the owner and nearby management if needed for any issues (we had no issues). Highly recommend.

We have a really enjoyable stay at this property. The decor and furnishings are beautiful and very homely. It is very well equipped and has everything that you could need for a comfortable stay.
The location is great for enjoying Chelsea and Kensington - lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and interesting shops.
Don’t be put off by the busy road, as it gets surprisingly quiet through the night and we did not find it an issue.
We hope to return one day! Thank you.

Lovely house over 4 floors. kitchen/dining room in basement - so a bit dark. Although beautiful set out with a lovely kitchen it didn’t inspire to cook and spend a long time there. Luckily there are plenty of restaurants in easy walking distance.
Sainsbury’s is literally across the road.
Cinema is just down the road - one of the nicest ones we’ve been to.
The road is busy - very busy… a constant stream of busses and cars going by and a lot of beeping as well as quite a lot of ambulances with sirens…
Garden is beautiful and very lush, very private but again the road noise was quite loud, supposed that’s what you get when you live on a main road with a hospital nearby. Just something to keep in mind.
Master bedroom is huge and the bed is very comfy. On suite is lovely too. Pictures are very accurate and the artwork is interesting and very tasteful.
Great to have off-road parking but bear in mind that it’s not a huge space… our car is 5.2 meters so we parked it at a slight angle and managed to close the gate - but only just and we did have to back into the hedge a bit to fit in.

the house is very nice and comfortable, centrally located, perfectly furnished. There is a nice little garden were you can stay in sunny days. The owner is kind and reachable at all time. The location is Just a bit noisy because of traffic, right outside the door and the near hospital but my stay has been wonderfull. I was there with 3 teen agers , students and they easely had room enough to concentrate for studying.

We stayed at this property for a week. The location is central, which is quite handy. However it is right next to a hospital so it was super noisy.
There is no fresh air literally, you are on the main street and can’t open any windows. Except the kitchen door.
In the midst of our stay, there was a water leak. We wiped everything down and put pots and pans to capture the water.
Erratic owner accused us of stealing a pillow case and a red cushion and misplacing her iron. She found the red cushion, then decided we had created a mark on the table. Extorted more money from us to repair her leaky place.

This flat is one of the best I've stayed in in London. The location can't be beat, and the home is spacious, comfortable, and clean. Communication with the owner was prompt and clear. We're looking forward to staying again in the future!

Great house, very clean and courtyard is amazing!
The house is beautiful! It is well decorated, well maintained and very clean. The courtyard in the back was fantastic for our family. We loved the location but because we were right next to a hospital we did hear a lot of sirens. There are great restaurants, coffee shops and gelato right out the front door.
The homeowner was very responsive and helpful and we would definitely stay at this house again!

An enjoyable London summer holiday
Our family really enjoyed our week here. The property lived up to its description, providing comfortable and spacious living for everyone. The warm weather was perfect for sitting out in the private back garden. Cafes and restaurants are in easy walking distance, and having the bus stop just outside the door made it very simple to access many London attractions. The street can be quite noisy during the day with ambulances going to and fro from the nearby hospital, but it does get quieter at night.

Cozyy place to stay in London
Loved this home and the homeowner was very accomdating and willing to answer any questions. It was in a nice neighborhood with easy tube access. It allowed our group of 6 to be comfortable and have a place for privacy if they needed it. We would definitely rent here again.

Great flat in excellent location
We recently stayed in the flat with our two very young children and it was so convenient and exactly as advertised. Clean, great location and Martine made the entire process seamless. Will definitely be bookmarking this for future trips to London!

Wonderful family base
This home was fantastic for our family of 6. The children had heaps of space with their own bathroom and our family appreciated the 3 toilets and 3 living spaces. It is luxuriously decorated so felt like a treat to stay at rather than basics only as in some online rentals. The living spaces were huge and allowed easy living with proper supplies for living, for instance cooking at home was simple and there were enough blankets for snuggling on the couch watching tv in the evening. We absolutely loved the area and having the bus stop right outside our door was a dream for the tired little people at the end of the day. The hospital a few doors up provided a city soundtrack but didn’t hinder sleeping at all (there are sirens and car sounds all over London!). We all got used to it after one night which is impressive as we live in the country in Australia and are used to silence! Having a dedicated laundry was fabulous for the 6 of us staying for almost a month. It was a fabulous stay for a wonderful holiday...it will remain in our hearts forever.

A pristine four floor property in the heart of bustling Chelsea
We so enjoyed staying in this beautiful home in the lively Chelsea area of London. The house has four floors. The ground level enjoys a full kitchen and dinning area with opening to a garden. The main floor has two living areas. Above that floor is a master suite with a lovely bedroom and an extensive bath area with both tub and shower. On the fourth floor are two guest bedrooms and bathroom. We could walk to dozens of restaurants, shops, pubs, and the Thames. The security system is top notch including gated entry for people and a one vehicle car park. We would happily rent here again. - Arthur H.

Amazing Chelsea Home
This was my first time using a VRBO of any kind and not staying in a 5 star hotel...I was super nervous. At the end of this trip I wanted to buy the house and just live there permanently! The house was beautiful, in mint condition and spotlessly clean. Large bedrooms, large bathrooms, tons of closet space - It suited all of our needs perfectly. The owner was more than helpful and accommodating throughout the seamless process. The location was perfect - Chelsea is upscale and charming. Walking distance to local coffee shops, great restaurants, shopping and the tube. I would go back and stay there again in heartbeat...Highly recommend

Immaculate
Our family of six was fortunate enough to book this house for our London holiday. It's in a residential area of Chelsea with many shopping and restaurant conveniences within walking distance. The bus picks up just outside the door and is a quick ride to the South Kensington Tube station.
The house is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms large and bright. Just outside the kitchen is a peaceful, private garden where a glass of wine or cup of coffee can be enjoyed.
The owner was responsive to our questions and requests and refunded the security deposit in a timely manner. Overall this was a very pleasant experience and we would gladly stay there again.

I wish I lived here all the time
Beautifully decorated and full of interesting object d’art this spacious house offered lots of room for our group of five. We found the Chelsea location convenient to all the sights, yet we felt we were in a neighborhood. In truth, the House was one of the highlights of our week in London. Totally well equipped, convenient to restaurants, shops and transportation. Near hospitals and busy streets so there is some noise, but it didn’t bother us. Highly recommended.

Great house in an ideal location
We had a great stay at this house. It is a beautiful property and the location was amazing - easy walk to everything you could possibly need and great access point for exploring the rest of London. Our only challenge was how vertical the house is with 3 young kids. The basement floor is where the kitchen and yard are and it was challenging at times with the bedrooms and bathrooms multiple floors up. We loved having the yard for them to run around in though. I think this is a perfect house for families / groups of older kids and adults. We would stay here again if we have the opportunity!

Great home from home with a garden in central London
Comfortable, spacious family accommodation in Chelsea. High quality appliances, very clean. Contemporary decor. Easy to find a quiet space to yourself, garden great to sit out. Easy access to grocery shopping and boutiques & cafes in Chelsea. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

Perfect home base for us in London
Your home was a perfect base for us in London. We found it very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our family. We enjoyed the nice bedrooms and common spaces, including the outdoor space in the backyard.
Checking it out on the map, we worried that it was too far from the tube, having never ridden buses in London before. The bus stop literally steps outside the home's front gate made travel easy and smooth -- we found it very easy to reach all different parts of the city via the bus and the tube.
We left wondering how soon we could come back, hoping the home is available for our next visit.
Thanks!
