Beautiful

Location was beautiful.

There were bugs, it was noisy most of the night with children running around unsupervised. Would be nice to have more children friendly activity on property.

We have a wonderful time visiting with many family members that were also at Turtle Reef

The location was exactly what we wanted. The pool was great. Access to beach was great.

Someone was smoking weed and cigerattes below us which prevent us from sitting on the baloney. We reported it three times to management. They said since they could not see who was doing it they couldn't do anything about it. I think since it is stated everywhere that it is a smoke free environment they should be able to do something.

Perfect beach getaway, we will definitely be back!

It’s beautiful with ocean views, great water pressure in showers and spacious for a family of 5. Everything you need in a home is there for your convenience!

A pesky inventory sheet that would make sense for a long stay but for a short stay it seemed unnecessary. Counting forks and hangers instead of relaxing from a long drive was frustrating but the scenery quickly made up for it ;-) The office said no rush on it but honestly you can’t help but feel you need to do it right away or possibly be held accountable for something. I think the hotel staff should check it beforehand but perhaps too many items have gone missing in the past and they have no choice but to handle it this way.

The location was so incredible, the view within steps out either door, the balconies! Especially thoughtfulness of the deck and the water to rinse on the way back in.

Dirty and roaches infested place

I liked the location, it’s right on the beach

Dirty, dusty place that no one ever cleans! We checked in at 6:30pm, and nobody was working. Got keys from lock box and found out our AC was not working, neither a fan. Had to call the help line. Finaly, maintenance came before 9pm. He told me he knew about ceiling fan and told us to move next door. My kids were already screeming, because it was way pass their bed time. Our new room was cold only that day, the rest of the stay it didn’t get lower than 76. Both of the rooms were dusty and dirty and smelled like old dirty house. I had hair on the toilet, in my bed, there was so much dust under the tv like nobody ever cleaned it. There were roaches in the kitchen. So gross!! I had to clean everything at 10pm, because there was no maintenance. There is black mold on the closet doors. In the morning, when I checked in, the receptionist was not much surprised about roaches. They gave us 20% discount, but it should have been much more. We were happy to leave home to our clean house P.S: I added 11 pictures but for some reason I don’t see ll of them posted. Especially all the roaches- running and dead and the dust. Hopefuly it will show so you can sed the reality.

This property is very spacious and comfortable. It was also very quiet and peaceful. we will certainly be coming back.

A wonderful week in a great location served by a friendly and competent staff.

Great location. Beautiful ocean views. Friendly front desk staff. Very clean accommodations.

The master bedroom bed was worn. The furnishings could use an upgrade. And some exterior painting is needed.

Scary

It was all right and the staff was great and the view was awesome but we did not feel safe at all. I hated how we got our keys and we left early because we did not feel safe at all. Otherwise it was nice.

The safety of the room we hated and we would have loved it otherwise but we will not go back.

Located on the beach, clean, friendly staff.

Furnishings and decor dated. Sheets and towels substandard. No hot water in shower. Great location, needs updating. Also lobby was very low budget motel feeling, Billed as a resort, has a long way to go, especially compared to the rest of the immediate area.

On the Beach!!

I love the beach is so close! Also they have a big pool and basketball court along with tennis. Sea turtle come up at night to lay their eggs. Lots of seashells. Ocean was clear!!

A great mid-week stay. We've decided we'll definitely be coming back.

The location was great, the view was an amazing sunrise every morning. My wife loved seeing the little wild marsh rabbits all over the property.

Wish I had more time to have made it a longer stay.

Nice, clean, spacious stay on Hutchinson Island.

Love the location at the beach! The apartment was well equipped and bedrooms/bathrooms were spacious. Towels were luxurious. I don't know what people are complaining about, the space seemed quite clean. A new cleaning crew is working, I was told. The price is right and pool looks really nice. Bring your own bottled water if you don't like choriney drinking water. You will need your own coffee filters. There is some starter coffee. Lots of cooking gear in excellent condition. plenty of generous sized beach towels were there for our use. I don't want to say too much or there won't be room for us next time!? :)

We are advised to keep beach facing lights off at night to avoid distracting incoming sea turtles. For a place named Turtle Reef, they need to be more diligent in this regard. The place is lit up like a Christmas tree at night. The beach chair rental person was a bit terse and didn't need to dump my towels in the sand when rentals were done for the day.

Great value and location

It was oceanfront, great access, easy to get to the ocean. The water is gorgeous here. Lots of shells. You can hear the ocean from the room. Large screened patio. The room was a nice size. Very roomy. The area is very nice. I would definitely recommend this area. The guy at check-in was very nice. Beach towels are provided. Lots of pillows provided.

There was some sort of diesel exhaust tube on the ground right by our patio. We had to shut the doors due to the fumes one morning. That should have been vented out of the top of the building. We were in 102. The floors hadn't been cleaned well, especially around edged and under things. There were hairs in the floor of the on-suite bathroom, a lime slice under a patio chair outside. No one brought clean towels, you had to ask and the staff then acted bothered about that. Chairs on the beach are NOT included. A guy on the beach rents those out daily. Behind and under furniture hadn't been cleaned in a while. If you're expecting house keeping to come each day, you'll be disappointed. I think they only come when you check out. Master bedroom bed squeaked on one side everytime you moved.
