Great location staff very nice. Had an issue with the furnace. it was blowing right on you when you are lying in bed. Also the fan was running the whole time. But was fixed by maintenance.
fire pit in the back was very nice on a cold night

It was very cozy and liked the decor. The bed was really comfortable and I liked the big shower. The heater in the bathroom was great. we are at the restaurant and the food was excellent! very close to everything.
Nothing about the hotel I can think of. The only issue was with the town on a Sunday night as everything closed early.
9.0
close proximity to dining and we shopping.
Being a historical hotel - lack of outlets for devices and a very small tv.

The place was very unique and centrally located. The staff was very friendly and inviting. We stayed in the old school house and I am a teacher. So, that was a cool twist on a great weekend getaway.

beautiful property very central to historic district. unique buildings that resemble an old town.
adjacent rooms were very noisy. there was a wedding party staying there and we could hear them till late at night

convenient. nostalgic.
something just did not function properly. bathroom door, a/c. foot board of bed blocked tv. internet was way too slow.

We loved the room we stayed in, in the school house. The grounds were well maintained, the smell you are greeted with when you walk in the lobby was so pleasant I had to find out what it was. (Scentair/golden bamboo). The staff were so helpful and professional. I will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends and family.
late in the evening the AC stopped working so the front desk attendant promptly moved us to another room which was very helpful. I understand problems happen it was just inconvenient. Other than that our stay was delightful. I have no other words of criticism.

This is a quaint, old-style country inn that is very nostalgic and it’s into the Hill Country perfectly.
Nothing.

The property is beautiful and the room was adorable and very clean.
The AC in our room was a problem - every time it came on there was a loud "whump" noise - we had the same thing in our house so I know what it is - the filter isn't fitted property so every time the AC come on it slams the filter up into the space. Also, one of the AC vents rattled like crazy whenever the AC was one - kept waking us up all night. And, we were facing the pool - we thought that was great until we discovered that apparently there is no limit on pool use - people were in the pool and it was very loud well past 10 p.m. Parking is not great - I had to circle and circle until someone finally left. Finally, the icemaker was broken, forcing us to go all the way to the front desk to ask for ice.
