Our house is an elegant and bright two-level apartment set in a unique setting in the city: it is located in the magical and central Borgo Marinari, the islet where the famous Castel dell'Ovo stands, connected to Via Caracciolo by a romantic bridge. A stone's throw from the best hotels in the city, some of its major monuments, as well as the sea, the house is in a position that is difficult to match. It represents an ideal starting point to visit the city and its surroundings, to enjoy the intense and changing panoramas of Naples, but also a welcoming and romantic refuge to spend the evenings at home with friends, enjoy a dinner or read, work and relax. The house has been recently renovated, with parquet and luxury finishes, is tastefully furnished and is equipped with every comfort. The house is composed as follows: - On the first level, there is a spacious and bright living area, furnished with care and elegance with a six-seater table, sofas, a hammock and TV. You will also find a large, sunny and equipped kitchen, with a table for four, fridge, freezer, oven and dishwasher. On the first floor there is also a lovely double bedroom which communicates with that of the upper floor through a closable window. The room has a small balcony overlooking Castel dell'Ovo. A guest bathroom and a laundry room with washing machine complete the lower floor. If necessary, the beds in the double bedroom can be separated. - Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a master double bed with an en suite bathroom, equipped with a bathtub. The bedroom overlooks the lower floor bedroom from which it is separated by a closable glass door and a blackout curtain. There is also a comfortable study area with a two-seater sofa bed. The study area can, if necessary, be isolated and darkened through a curtain and therefore includes two more beds. The study area is connected to a colorful bathroom with shower and a large closet space. The house is equipped with every comfort: TV, independent heating, air conditioning, free wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, double fixtures. The house, located in a safe area, also has an armored door. We can also accommodate the little ones and on request we can provide high chairs, camp beds ... You can request additional services such as: - additional cleaning - additional linen change - breakfast and food delivery The house is suitable for singles, couples, families and small groups of friends.

Naples is not my favorite place but this area at marina & next to castle was night. There is alot of night life. My only negative is the floor was dirty. It looked clean but when walking with no shoes my feet were very dirty.

The apartment looks even better then the pictures. Well-equipped kitchen, lots of space, extremely comfortable. Air conditioning worked great, we had a little balcony to sit out on and watch the world go by. It is in a great spot- right by the sea, just a little apart from the main city. It has a thriving restaurant culture and there are a ton of food options at your doorstep. Busy in the evening but the apartment does a good job of keeping the bulk of the noise out.

This is a wonderful property located in the vibrant Borgo Marinari, the historic marina of Napoli, which recently became one of the prettiest areas of the city. The apartment has a view of the central market of Borgo Marinari, packed with restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. Its side has a view of Castel dell'Ovo fortress. Some of the best restaurants in Napoli are located here. The apartment is huge, on two levels, with three baths and can easily accommodate 10 people. It has blinders and noise-reduction windows to isolate from outside noise and all needed amenities, as advertised. It has two separate AC units for full comfort, high speed internet, guides to Napoli, the works. For the sea wolfs: you can come with your family by boat, dock in the marina and stay in the apartment. Marcello is a great host, prompt and fast and we communicated flawlessly. He also provided a connection for a garage nearby, at a reduced fare. Overall, a highly recommended rental that I will pass to all my friends.

Perfect walking location!! Only needed transport to farther locations like Pompeii and Herculaneum and Amalfi. Ferries to islands are walking distance. Take a taxi up the hill and walk down if it is too much.
Restaurants and bars right next door. Noise was not a problem. You can hear them on the weekends but never kept us or our granddaughter awake.

Casa Borgo Marinari was great. The neighborhood is full of restaurants on the water and several bars. It is on a pedestrian way so it may require a little work to get your luggage from the main road to the apartment but it is worth it.

Marcello was a great host. The location is perfect for all activities, our favorite tour from Get Your Guide was a boat tour to Capri with a swim stop and they picked up within 5 minutes walking distance from our place. All is great, The internet could work better but other than that we had a lovely time.

Incredible Place, Great Location
The property was wonderful. Large enough for our family of 4. Wonderful location. Convenient to local local transportation. AC was wonderful during the heat wave.

Une pépite au coeur de Naples !
Appartement très bien rénové, (beaux matériaux, bon agencement, beaucoup de rangements) clair, agréable à vivre. Marcello nous a permis d'arriver dès le matin : il fait tout pour le confort de ses hôtes. Ce quartier est fort sympathique, un peu de bruit sur les terrasses mais on échappe aux klaxons de la ville !

Unique location in a unique city. Marcello was a great host, the property was beautifully and thoughtfully designed with many architectural features which felt quite nautical. Our small family loved it and it would be suitable for a larger group too. Quiet at night and felt really special to be in such a historically important location. Thanks Marcello!

Assolutamente oltre le aspettative
L'appartamento di Marcello è stata una scelta fortunata perché rispondeva esattamente alle esigenze della nostra famiglia. Viaggiavamo mia moglie, io, i nostri due figli di 8 e 11 anni e i nostri due bouledogue francesi. La posizione è molto comoda per visitare Napoli oltre che estremamente suggestiva trovandosi la casa a due passi da Castel dell'Ovo nel Borgo Marinari. Marcello ci ha ricevuto con puntualità e gentelizza. La casa è spaziosa, bella e pulita con tutto quello che può essere necessario per un soggiorno anche di più di qualche giorno. Una delle soluzioni migliori che ci è capitato di prenotare ( e viaggiamo molto...)

Fabulous location and great property! Exactly as described. The only slight negative is the bars and restaurants next door can be very noisy, but the extremely sound proof windows really help and the noise did not keep us awake. A great location from which to explore the surrounding areas. Loved it and would recommend highly.

En utomordentligt trevlig och bra lägenhet i ett mycket bra läge i Neapel. Introduktionen med fastighetsförvaltaren var bra och dessutom mycket trevlig.
Huset bör dock renoveras utvändigt och i trapphuset.

This is a fun apartment to stay in. The clever engineering of space, and we were still discovering little touches of creativity and practicality at the end of our 4 day stay. The Borgo Marinaro setting is both apart from old Napoli, and close enough to be able to walk to most of the many of the main sites in the historical centre, and to the ferry landing for trips to Capri, Ischia and Procida. On a fine evening the stroll along Lungomare and Cariciaolla is unsurpassed for views across the city and bay.

This apartment was perfect! We loved the space, the location, and the nearby restaurants. It felt like we were in a beach town, but in the city. The castle had incredible views, and we loved walking over the small bridge that always had lovely musicians playing. Evening was perfect for photos and people watching. The hosts were wonderful! We had a flight cancellation, and as luck would have it, we were able to extend our stay by an additional night. We would not stay anywhere else on a return trip to Naples. This was our last stop on an 18 day holiday, and we couldn't have chosen a better place.

Excellent lcation
We are a group of four people who spent 16 nights in May 2019. We used this excellent location to explore Naples and the islands of Capri and Ischia. Everything was as described on the internet site. The apartment is on two levels. There are two full bedrooms (each for two persons) and two full bathrooms. There is also a half bathroom. The living area is quite large. There is a full kitchen (gas knobs, oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, etc.) and the washing machine. The climatisation works well. The TV had many channels. The WiFi connection worked well and we could use Skype. The owner has been very helpful and made significant efforts to accommodate us. We intend to come back.

Great Location Naples
Very nice apartment, lots of room, very nicely updated. Has to be one of the best locations in town. Great communication from owner. Lots of great restaurants very close, and within easy walking distance to a lot of historic sites. Would highly recommend.

Apartamento muy recomendable para Nápoles en una zona próxima al paseo marítimo, con mucho ambiente, limpio, ordenado, luminoso y sin ruidos.
Marcello muy atento a todo desde el principio hasta el final.Buen anfitrión.
Ha tener en cuenta que las compras de alimentación hay que desplazarse un poquito a Santa Lucía.

Spacious, clean, and cool apartment in a charming location
We loved staying at Marcello’s apartment. It is located next to an old castle right near the water. There is a stunning view of the coast and Mt. Vesuvius. The apartment was air conditioned which was very nice for my mother. We hadn’t had this luxury at other apartments in Florence and Rome. We also used the washing machine which was necessary near the end of our two week stay in Italy.
Marcello and his assistant were friendly and provided thorough and clear directions and check in instructions. They made us feel at home. We hope to stay again in the future if we can!

Great location, spacious apartment
This is a wonderful apartment in a great location. Just a couple negatives: If you are over 6 feet tall, you might have trouble staying here. Most rooms have very low ceilings and doorways. The air conditioning unit doesn't work very well. We were here in September when the weather was mild, not hot, and the upstairs bedrooms became warm enough that windows had to be opened at night. That would have been fine, except there was a very noisy bar right outside the apartment, which didn't quiet down until 2 a.m. This happened every night of our 3-night stay.

Wonderful apartment and location in Naples
It is a perfect apartment with easy walking access to lots of different areas and sites. After a long day it was a delight to return to the Borgo to relax and recharge for the evening. Cooking
some meals made one seem a bit less of a tourist. However, the bar cafes and pizzerias
lured one in more often than not.Thank you Marcello and Simone.

Fantastic spacious apartment in historic area next to the sea
The apartment lives up to expectations and I would not have chosen any other area in preference. 4 of us had plenty of room and we all enjoyed swaying in the hammock (2 adults and 19 & 22 year old)! The castell dell 'ovo outside is imposing and the pizzarias and bars are welcoming and enjoyable in the area. Taxi rank is nearby (5 minute walk) . Nearest trains are a bit further but we walked in the city area. We hired a car for 2 days to drive the amalfi coast and to visit pompeii although pompeii can be reached easily by train from piazza garibaldi (50 minute walk or get a cab) . Nearby car rental on via San Lucia very helpful but we found it hard to understand the terms of contract in Italian so might have gone elsewhere to be on more familiar ground. Marcello suggested parking in a nearby garage which was fine for our overnight rental. We took 2 free guided walks at the start of the week which were really great to get a feel for the old town and area of Naples (donations can be given after the walk) . Our last day we took a train from piazza amadeo to pozzuilo and went to the volcano solfatara and the amphitheatre, both were excellent. Finally the archaelogical museum was amazing. We would really recommend this apartment and marcello was brilliant with all his help along the way!

Fantastic apartment
This large, comfortable, well appointed apartment is situated perfectly for seeing the sights of Naples and the surrounding area. Everything is within easy reach. The Borgo itself is a tiny little refuge of character and charm, removed from the ever exuberant beat of Naples itself.
Simona and Marcello could not habe been more accommodating or lovingly professional, a welcome aid for travelers to an unknown area. Every question, every need was attended to. When thinking of a place to stay in Naples this is it!

Lots of space, ceilings are low so if you're over 6'4" be careful. Location in the marina is great.
We really liked the unit due to its size and once we got the washer figured out all was good. Lots of restaurants in the area. About a twenty minute walk to the ferry terminal Beverly where we caught the train to Capri.

They are a pleasure to deal with,very accommodating The apt. was big, clean, airy one small comment not a complaint for them to know that the shower water did not drain fast! I"ll give the place 5 stars plus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!II I was born in Naples and i can tell you location is top!!!!!!!! Of course restaurant near by I recommend Stella beautiful wiew of the bay good food!!!!! I"ll will definitely to my friends here in San Diego,Ca.Victor Sorrentino. (my 3 granddaughters loved it! also}

Lovely
We stayed here for 3 nights while vising Naples, Pompeii and the surrounding area. This two story appartment was very comfortable for 5 people (3 adults, 2 children) and made an excellent base for our excursions. There are plenty of restaurants in the immediate area for easy dining, but it was still a quiet area at night. The space was quite livable and sunny, and the children loved the hammock best of all. Thank you!
